Summer-Ready Look (Fake Tan) inspired by Cleopatra

 

Yes, I am not sure what Cleopatra is doing in my summer-inspired look but when I think about Cleopatra, I am thinking about her bronzey-glowing skin and I had her in mind when I was creataing this look!  Instead of going Cleopatra-style with the winged liner, I changed it into something more wearable!  Here’s the final look!

The star product in this makeup look is the Bobbi Brown High Shine Liquid Eye Shadow in Copperhead.  It brought a natural glow on both my eyes and cheeks.  It wasn’t supposed to be used on cheeks but we all know we love multi-tasking products.  Anything good for the eyes can work for the rest of the face!  I’m glad the bronzy color is just right even for fair skinned gals!  

The lip color is also another thing, if you made glowing eye makeup and cheeks, stick to matte lips to divert attention towards the upper half of your face!  Can you imagine how confusing everything will look with shiny lips too? 

Makeup for Video Conference #AMWIGtv

As much as I would like to be the first one to say: "Just be who you are!"  "You don't need to put on makeup when you have a video call or conference calls with colleagues or boss, they would understand you!"

Well, they would, but let's not forget to still put our best face forward whenever we make video calls!  Same as to what I always believe in, making sure you look good before you face a person means they get the respect they deserve.  Correct me if I'm wrong, some of you may disagree (feel free to comment below), but I believe looking good is not only done to impress other people, but it also made me feel more powerful and confident whenever I face clients or bosses online!

This makeup look I've created is simple and easy to do, I can easily create this look in 10 minutes less and you may opt to create a different version depending on what you're comfortable in.  As for me, the basic requirements are -- Concealer and a bit of color on eyes, cheeks and lips so I feel more alive and can actually transmit energy to the person I am talking to! 

It doesn't hurt to grab a nice top, okay to wear pajamas below but please remember DO NOT STAND UP! :P

Party-Ready Look (Burgundy Make up Tutorial)

Hi AMW Friends!
I haven't worn full makeup in A WHILE!
Things have been busy but just the start of 2020, I've attended 1 wedding and 1 more next week!  So I have to brush off my make up game and created this look that I lot of you asked for! 

It also helps if you style your hair differently!  Just simple curls and waves can make you look different that usual - different in a YOU-way!

Unboxing Niyo&Co.!!! #AMWIGtv

Hey AMW Friends!

When I do a flatlay like this, you know I mean business!

I am so excited to share to you a niche brand made in Italy that is CRUELTY-FREE!  This brand earns my utmost respect for staying tight and straightforward to their customers rather than going to the commercialized route.  

This brand offers wide range of makeup, perfumes, skincare, hair care and body care products!

The OFFICIAL store opening happened at Nuvali, Sta. Rosa.  As much as my Beauty Blogger heart wanted to run there at once, due to Taal Volcano circumstance, I didn't get the chance to visit their newly opened store (which looked like a candy store for kids by the way as I've seen photos!)  

Thankfully, the Official Distributor in the Philippines (hi Paolo!) was kind enough to send me some of their bestselling products hoping I could share my thoughts on them.  Well, let's start with the initial thoughts shall we?

You all know the drill, it takes loads of time for me to review products but most of the time, my initial thoughts never fail me!  In less than 3 days, I have loved 2 products already!  Watch my short video to see which among these products are the top 2 I liked in an instant!
