Weekend Food Trip at: Gumbo

I have dined at Gumbo a couple of times with my family but I only wrote about it once and it was almost 8 years ago!  (Read post HERE)

So fast forward to today, my family and I were hungry when we met at Robinsons Magnolia, we used to love to go for Pepper Lunch but we wanted somewhere quiet were we can easily catch up as Pepper Lunch is located at the Food Court of the mall.

So with hungry stomachs, we were back for yet another fun bonding with my brother and parents and I tell you, we never leave the restaurant hungry!

Baked Artichoke Formaggio

These are freshly baked garlic bread chips (which I really love since they took the effort to make it a garlic bread instead of just regular bread).  I wish they added more Artichoke to it as I tasted mostly cream!

Meet the Boi-ing Family!

There are many things "I wished for" when I looked into my old graduation photo whenever I visit my mom and dad!  I wished my undereye darkness was concealed better and naturally!  But God is good, I was given a chance to take a better graduation photo, this time with better-looking brows and well concealed face!  Best of all?  I'm in ALL pink! (Added bonus pa na Class of 2017 ako! hahaha)

After getting all excited with the lovely display during my first visit at Benefit Cosmetics Robinson's Magnolia Branch, I went down to business and got to know the Boi-ing Family!

Yes, Boi-ing isn't really knew to us Bene-lovers!  The Boi-ing we all love actually got married and had a family!  Housed in a better packaging with shades so easy to choose from (All of them comes in shades 01, 02 and 03) And guess what?  There's no second-guessing when it comes to concealing, whatever your "concealing" issues are, Benefit finally got you (and me) covered!

AMW on Femalenetwork's First BeautyCon

How does it feel to be part of the country's biggest beauty network?  I'm sure beauty enthusiasts knew Femalenetwork.com or you've probably been to the site to search for answers to all your beauty dilemmas!  I was one of the many visitors of FN and I was ecstatic when they invited me to be one of the key speakers for their first ever BeautyCon held at Robinsons Magnolia last November 15th!

I've been speaking in front of people more than half of my life --- from being a Professor in a University to being a trainer for various makeup brands.  But honestly speaking, THIS is one of the rare moments I had butterflies in my stomach!  I even "Snapped" before I went up on stage and you can actually hear or feel the excitement and fright all rolled in one!

Weekend Food Trip at: Clubhouse Robinsons Magnolia

You know how it is when you go to the same mall most of the time?  The lack of restaurant choices!  Our favorite restaurant at Robinsons Magnolia is Conti's.  As much as we would like to dine there again, we wanted to try something new!  I realized too, as a mom, that not all restaurants offer high-chair options for toddlers which makes it even more difficult for us!  How can I enjoy dining with my family if I have to run around chasing after my son during dinner right?

Thankfully, Mr. AMW found a nearby restaurant (from Conti's) called Clubhouse.  The Clubhouse is actually a nice, homey-feel restaurant wherein it is surprisingly almost full on weekends!  That intrigued us more to give this restaurant a try even if we have to wait 15 minutes for our seats.

The restaurant offers, cakes, ice cream (Carmen's Best) and some international merchandise from Pod's to KitKat and Belgian Biscuit.
