Weekend Food Trip at: Bad Bird, Robinsons Manila

My family and I love to go out for simple bonding during weekends!  No matter how tired we both are (Mr. AMW and I) from work, we try as much as we can to always make time for families...because, they are our inspirations naman!

One thing we are looking forward to are our weekly "food trips".  We enjoy trying out new restaurants because that's what we are as a family --- we love to eat..PERIOD :P

One mall that we frequent to is Robinsons Manila, thankfully, after rounding out almost all the restaurants there, they have a new wing with more restaurants!  Bad Bird is finally at Robinsons Manila and I had to take my family there because I tried this restaurant once during an event!

Dirty Rice Plate
4pcs Fried Rice with Rice + Hush Puppies
Php695.00 for Double Serving

The chicken is flavorful, yes, but if you ask me, my favorite is still from Kettle, that's my preference by the way so don't keep my word for it!

Banila Co. Christmas Gift Ideas

So Banila Co. launched in Manila last year and the brand was in steady-mode for quite some time.  Then, when I passed by their branch at Robinsons Manila branch as I was rushing to complete my Holiday Shopping list turned into a Store Photo-Op because the brand changed not only the look of the store but the packaging and even pricing!

The all-new Banila Co now comes in sleeker and more modern packaging and more product choices especially on skincare!

So, I had to take a photo on the "I Woke Up Like This" station even if I really look like I literally woke up and walked straight into the store --- in rubber shoes!

Weekend Food Trip at Coco Ichibanya

So I have tried Coco Ichibanya the first time in Shanghai more than 10 years ago!  I remembered my brother (who's working there) taking Keith and I, my mom, dad and my brother to this "Curry Restaurant" because it is extremely yummy.

Then, I opened the menu and said: "What?  It's all curry lang?"
Duh? Obviously, it's a CURRY RESTAURANT.

Obviously, it isn't just a curry restaurant, it is one of the yummiest Curry I've tried!  I loved the restaurant so much I made it a point to visit and dine there whenever I go to Shanghai!

Then, the most impossible thing happened, just when I always message my brother how I wish this restaurant would be available in the Philippines, it finally happened!  And I can't believe why it took me THIS long to finally visit Coco Ichibanya!

(Note from author:  All food photos won't look exactly the same as how they would regularly serve because we asked them to separate the curry sauce!)

Pork Cutlet Omelette Curry
Php380.00
Soft and fluffy omelette curry with steaming Japanese rice inside is a wonderful surprise!  It goes so well with the crunchy Pork Cutlet!  You also get to choose the spicy level of your curry sauce!

Pork Cutlet Curry
Php340.00
Because I wanted to share this dish with my son, I went for plain steaming rice with the same yummy pork cutlet that's oh-so-tender and soft on the inside.

Weekend Food Trip at: Bill's Bear Cafe, Robinsons Place Ermita + CBTL's New Offerings

I think it was a sudden decision to stop by Robinsons Place Ermita last weekend because we need to buy something!  And as always, the Mr. and Mrs. always ask each other: "Where to eat?"  and finally, after seeing Bill's Bear Cafe right at the center of the East Wing of Robinsons Place Ermita for quite some time, we knew we had to give the restaurant a try considering how hungry we were!

Thankfully, the restaurant provides high chair, one of the best kind of high chair I must say (with longer back rest).  So made the quickest decision by ordering their "meals".

But while typing this, we really regret not ordering their pizzas!

Diced Beef served with Dry Garlic Slices in Mushroom Sauce
Php389.00

The beef is soft and tender and tastes really good!  I can't complain about the serving as the price is just okay for a set meal with rice, a bit of salad and creamy soup.  I can't give 2 thumbs up for the Mushroom Sauce though!  It was just okay, not the mushroom sauce my tongue was accustomed to.

Kyle and I Did the NEW Pampers Baby Dry 99.9% Dryness Challenge!

The best events are attended with my special date!
Remember the first ever event I attended with Kyle Nash?  It was the New Pampers Baby Dry Launch  and Kyle, Mr. AMW and I had so much fun!  So when I received another invite from Pampers, I had to clear up my schedule and make sure to give it a go --- even on a Sunday.

The event was held at Robinsons Manila last November 22nd.  We made it as a family thing so I went with Mr. AMW and Kyle Nash!  Look at that excited face of my little angel!

I have tried so many diapers in the past, you'll know if you follow me on Instagram!  And thankfully, I finally found the best one for my son!  That's why I call myself a Pampers Mommy!

I'm so happy to see fellow Pampers mommies (Hi Shen and Frances!) during the event!  We were all excited to do the NEW Pampers Baby Dry 99.9% Dryness Challenge!

Weekend Food Trip at: Ippudo Ramen

When Ipuddo first arrived the country, I remembered wishing I live close by Ortigas area!  SM Megamall is where the must-try restaurants are!  So every time I've done a workshop or events at SM Megamall, I can't help but stare longingly at the line outside of Ippudo and wished someday, I will be able to give this Ramen place a try.

Fast forward to several months later...naku, a second branch was finally open and my prayers were answered!  It was right by my neighborhood!  Robinsons Place Ermita!

That fateful weekend when the line isn't so bad!
