AMW Reviews: Maybelline Color Sensational Lasting Lipcolor in Coral Crush

When I visit Maybelline counters, I find myself getting serious checking out their various lipstick shades!  Why?  The brand always comes out with a wide range of shades perfect for each individual's taste!  It doesn't hurt that they also name their lipstick shade in such a cute and unique way!

Since it's the summer season, corals are definitely in high demand even for clients!  I immediately checked Coral Crush because the name reminded me so much of the game Candy Crush!  *laughs*  Totally unrelated but still cute! *winks*

I Wonder: How Do You Relax At Night?

Hi AMW Friends! :)

The title is fitting as it's nearing the weekend and I'm sure a lot of you are going to a "relax mode" as early as now!  BUT, I was up and thinking about relaxing at night because I lose quite a number of sleep when I got pregnant and I was told by my friends that I'm the only pregnant woman they know who gets the least sleep in the whole pregnancy! 

So true!  It must be a practice for "soon to be moms" to sleep lesser at night as when the baby comes and cries all night, I guess, I'm one hell of an owl! :P

Since I'm up all night, a simple question has been bugging me that I want to get answers from you!  I mean, I'm not the only one who has trouble sleeping at night, my mom-in-law has the same problem and she sometimes, desperately goes for the sleeping pill route!  As for me, I went for the natural way...the lavender way.

I remembered having my monthly massage at a spa back in China and I always request for Lavender scent as it relaxing me so much I always get to sleep in less than 30 minutes!  So off I went to try the MJ's Herbals Lavender E Salve, I blogged about this product a year ago and I actually used it for a good month and stopped using it as soon as I learned I got pregnant!

Make Up Store as a brand didn't fail me when I tried their lipstick called Sweetheart (review HERE) early this year.

The next product I get to try is their super pigmented eyeshadow.  I can't promise all shadows are the same as I only get to try one of their shade called Valley. 

Eureka Moment: Sun Protection and Care the Easy Way!

Hi AMW Friends!
Summer is getting literally hotter and hotter as days go by!  I can overhear conversations by random people on temperatures in Manila and the provinces!  The weather is definitely absurd as compared to decades ago!

Nothing we can do for now regarding the weather but we can do something to protect ourselves from the harsh sun! 

If only we can bask under the sun like the couple on photo below to get a nice even sun tan or use airbrush for makeup all over the body to get that nice "sun kissed" look.  But let's get back to reality shall we?  We have jobs and responsibilities to attend to, and spending extra time to apply that sunblock could be a huge task for some of us *ahem* ME and my mom!  My mom dislikes sunblock application as she tends to sweat easily!  The thing though, she's exposed under the sun way longer than I am as she loves walking the dogs!

Thankfully, with our generation, sun sprays are available and the most recent one I got introduced is from Nivea! 

AMW Reviews: Celeteque Anti-Stretch Mark Cream

Happy Monday!!!
As soon as my morning sickness died down (a tiny bit), I was aiming for anti-stretch mark cream application even though the scent puts me off!  Would you believe I literally wear a mask during application?  Sorry to say, I'd rather go for that route rather than having stretch  marks!  I'm not vain, but I'm just making sure I take care of my body!  *laughs*  I wish the skin has its own "skin system" wherein the body can automatically adjust to changes and steer away from ugly stretchmarks.  Unfortunately, there's none.

I was told so many times through research that genetics plays a huge role!  I literally had to take a peek at my mom's belly and true enough, she has stretch marks because she was scratching her belly non-stop due to pregnancy but the rest of her body are stretch marks free! 

That's confusing right?  But I can't take risks or chances, whether anti-stretch mark creams work or not!  I'm definitely giving them a try, plus of course, I know these products also help stop the urge to scratch your belly as it rapidly grows!
