Uniqlo - my to-go-to shopping place when I want to update my casual, basic wardrobe.  Who would've thought a collaboration would change the way I perceive Uniqlo?  Suddenly, I think about Paris, France --- the Fashion Capital of the World!

Who is Ines De La Fressange?

"Born in France into an aristocratic family, Ines de la Fressange grew to be a fashion model, becoming Chanel's star model from 1983 to 1990, and the muse of designer Karl Lagerfeld. In 1989 she was chosen by the French government as the likeness for a bust of Marianne, the symbol of the French Republic.

Today Ines is active as a designer, journalist, author, and fashion consultant, and in 2010 was selected as a member of L'Oréal's "Dream Team." Her book Parisian Chic has been translated into 17 languages, with more than a million copies sold worldwide.

In 2013 Ines re-launched her own brand, INES DE LA FRESSANGE PARIS, and is closely involved as creative director. The luxury lifestyle brand includes a wide range of products to create a truly Parisian style, from ready-to-wear apparel to interior decorations."

 

Have You Heard About Himalaya Herbals?

I haven't heard about Himalaya Herbals until recently when samples were made available via Sampleroom.  When Sampleroom made these samples available in their website, it must be really good!

When I posted about my "haul" on instagram, I get a lot of positive feedback about the brand and I wonder why I only knew about these today! 

 Himalaya Herbals is actually a global brand with herbal products in personal care category.  They are present in more than 85 countries across the globe!  And it was just last year they launched in the Philippines together with their oral care range.  Here are some of the products I get to try and please let me know your thoughts which product is worth trying out!

AMW Makeovers: MOH and MOB

Happy Friday AMW Friends!
Today, I'm sharing an MOH (Maid of Honor) and MOB (Mother of Bride) makeover!  This is a continuation of my bridal makeup as posted HERE.

As we all know, the Bride is top priority when it comes to hair and makeup but as a makeup artist, I never forget to really take my time to prettify those people who are with her!  The special people who walks the aisle together with the bride to witness the special bonding between a man and a woman!  

I was lucky enough to prettify these 2 beauties!  One is sister of the Bride who will also act as Maid of Honor and the other one is the "blushing" Mother of the Bride, who feels as excited and as nervous as the bride!

I would like to share the newest Virginia Olsen products I got that I loved so much I brought with me on the gig and actually used it!  I seldom bring with me loose mineral makeup but because the pigmentation and colors are so pretty, I can't help but use them!  Thanks Virginia Olsen for sending me these!  The shades are perfect even on Bridal gigs!

Specific Hair Problems, SOLVED!

Hi everyone!
How are you?  Me, I'm tired emotionally from worrying!  Baby AMW got really sick 2 days ago and his temperature reached 40!  I looked back at those times when me and my brothers and sister got sick and I can't imagine how my mom handled these!  It is emotionally and physically exhausting!  So kudos really...to all moms and dads out there!

Now that Baby AMW is getting better, let me share to you my most recent finds!  I recently received a Hair Heroes box from Watsons and I'm so happy they include so many affordable hair products that targets specific hair issues!

DKNY MYNY Story

I have been a long time fan of DKNY fragrance, check out my post HERE, HERE, HERE and HERE.  I love the apple-shaped bottle so much I created a couple of "memes" in the past.

When I got an invite from my Sampleroom family on DKNY's newest fragrance called DKNY MYNY (My New York) and saw poster on the heart-shaped bottle, indicative of the New York Skyline, I have a bit of hesitation.  I mean how in the world could you change the well-known apple-shaped bottle?

Then I came to know about the background of this fragrance during the event.  The campaign is fronted by Rita Ora --- the talented beautiful singer Kosovan-born, UK-raised and madly in love with New York.
