AMW Cooks: Potato Croquettes with Corn

Hi and welcome to my cooking portion!  I am so happy some of you are interested with my simple home-cooked meals!  They are boring, I may have to tell you in advance as I don't include much seafood in any of my recipe because...I am allergic to it!

So recently, I am really into potatoes and corn combo!  Thankfully, the household love this combination as well so I've decided to create my own "Potato Croquettes" as side dish, since I got leftover corn kernels from recent cooking, I've decided to add in for some extra crunch and sweetness.  Feel free to change the ingredients to ham, bacon or just leave it to plain potato croquettes!

Swatch: Etude House Fantastic Color Eyes Palette in Cherry Blossom

This post will be short, quick and sweet!
On my recent make up tutorial, you probably saw me using almost all the shades included in ONE palette from Etude House.  Let me tell you this, I seldom have a favorite eyeshadow palette on Asian branded cosmetics because I find most of them either too shimmery, not too pigmented or too powdery!

This one is definitely an exception!  The Etude House Fantastic Color Eyes Cherry Blossom is part of
the Spring 2015 collection, 1 out of the 2 palette, the other one is named Rose Garden and I believe both are limited edition.

The palette has Cherry Blossom flowers printed, really dainty and sweet.

AMW Wears: Make Up For Ever New Artist Plexi-Gloss (Shades 201 and 402P)

Happy Friday AMW Friends!
You probably know by now how I try to steer clear on lipglosses!  Firstly, I have quite a good volume on my lips so I don't need the extra "plump" a lipgloss gives.  Secondly, I am too busy to even bother on retouch and most lipglosses never last me more than an hour!

So why am I holding 2 tubes of what looks like lipglosses?

Because it is the newest gloss from Make Up For Ever called Artist Plexi-Gloss and as much as I want to keep them straight on my make up train case, I'd rather test products before I use them on clients!  And so far, as much as you would like to read my thoughts here, you have to bear with me, scroll down, and enjoy the photos :P

I am Online 24/7

As much as I don't like to be coined as "the girl who's online 24/7", well, I am!  But mind you, I still have life outside this cyber world!  And if I may have to add, being online (as a Blogger) gave me so many opportunities, opportunities I used to just dream about, and now they have turned into reality.

I do enjoy a cup of coffee with friends and new friends every now and then...

I do beauty workshops for brands I love....

Eureka Moment: Mommy Hacks

Let me start by saying, I'm not a perfect mom!  But being hands on for a good 24 plus months, I can say, I do have some tricks under my sleeves!  All the drawing, the book-reading, the acting, I am definitely a teacher/actress/artist for life!

As you all know, my title is inspired by "Life Hacks" seen on Facebook shared posts!  This is my personal "mommy hacks" list and I can add more if you are interested!  I will try to put up as interesting products as possible for "ahem" cool mommies out there!

My son turned 2 last April 16th!  Yes, TWO!  Eeeekkkk!!!! I know what I'm hearing now: "Terrible Two!"  Thankfully, he may be at his most active, noisy, running-here and there stage but I don't call him terrible!  NOT YET! :P  But for the past few weeks, he feel or hit himself a couple of times so I'm used to seeing some bruises and bumps on his adorable face and arm! *insert sad face*  Fellow mommies would understand how it literally crushes our hearts to see our kiddos getting hurt!  So I always have this first-aid kit with me!  Everybody should know that I use Lucas Papaw a lot!  They are perfect for insect bites.  But there are some instances wherein Lucas Papaw is not enough so I have these....

Arnica Bruise-Stick Php470.00
Available at: NaturaMomma Facebook
Bruise-Stick™ is an all-natural ointment stick formulated to reduce bruising and swelling associated with injury or medical procedures.

It looks like a glue-stick so it's easy to use especially on kids!  Kyle Nash had a huge bruise on his forehead when he fell face flat on the floor!  He was such a brave boy and didn't cry much but the huge bump said it all!  Whenever he goes to sleep, I would rub Bruise-Stick on his bruise and massage it gently.  So far, the swelling didn't get worst, instead, it died down in less than a week!  I did patch test first before applying all over the bruise, I applied a small amount at the back of his ear and leave it for a couple of hours, I didn't see any negative reactions so I went for it.
