Pixi's Fall 2015 Collection + Glow Tonic!

I've known about the brand Pixi by Petra from reading international blogs and all thanks to Glamourbox, I was able to try some of Pixi's star products!  (Read Pixi products reviews and usage HERE)

But truth be told, the brand is still very "Foreign" to me, I still can't pinpoint which particular product is their "ultimate star" at the same time, who is Petra?  Who is the woman behind the brand?

So when I received an invite to join them for a launch of Pixi's Fall 2015 collection, I was very excited when my mom's schedule was free to look after my son so I can get to know more about the brand, the owner and share it to you here!

Creator Petra Strand has more than 20 years experience as a makeup artist and product developer.  She is also a mom like me who understands how time is precious and how not only moms, but women in general are very busy to spend a lot of time in front of the mirror.  That's when she created easy, fuss-free makeup line year 1999 in London and she has a loyal following since then!

AMW Wears: Ofra Long Lasting Liquid Lipsticks in Mocha and Santa Ana

Today marks our 19th year anniversary as Boyfriend and Girlfriend --- yihhee Mr. AMW :P  You love meeeee! :P

So I've decided to share my thoughts on 2 lip colors that he used to asked me not to use!  Yes, he was the young boy who said: "You look way better without any make up on!"  Fast forward to today, let me tell you, he is the most supportive boyfriend/husband ever!  He understands the difference between a serum, a moisturizer a primer and different types of foundations!  All because he wanted to speak and understand my language..and he achieved it with flying colors!

So back to the topic of the 2 lip colors he asked me to shy away from --- browns and reds, would you believe he was the first to say: "You look great in that lip color?"  I believe, there is no right or wrong in wearing the perfect shade of lipsticks, all you need is to pick the shade that makes you feel good and wear not only the lipstick but the confidence in you! 

I highly recommend trying out Ofra Long Lasting Liquid Lipsticks!  Aside from the wide variety of shades to choose from, they are highly pigmented and non-drying!  If I say non-drying on my current lip condition, this is definitely a lip product that is extremely hydrating to users with normal lips!

AMW Reviews: Pink Sugar Our Lil' Secret Concealer

Happy Monday!

You all know about the crazy swatch-fest party I recently attended from Pink Sugar.  Most of you were so quick to request for a review for Pink Sugar's Our Lil' Secret Concealer!

Because you guys are THE BEST readers in the world and I try to really be the Genie of Aladdin, I tested this product (out of all the Pink Sugar bunch that I got) for a week plus!  Yes, I tried to play with the lippies but I had to stop myself and concentrate on ONE PRODUCT --- the concealer ---- because you guys said so!  So I believe I deserve a big hug there!  (What are you waiting for?  HUG ME!...now na!)

A quick tip for all of you who are searching for THE RIGHT concealer.  Before you go crazy with all the shades in front of you, the first thing you have to ask yourself is --- What do you want to conceal?

My answer was --- my undereye darkness!

So let's get back to that color wheel, we all know by now, fellow beauty junkies, that concealer with "orange tint" would help correct the dark tint around the eyes.  So when I was given a choice of all the shades in front of me, it wasn't a difficult decision for me to go for a shade that's close to my skin tone with a hint of orange/peach.

Anniversary Date at Stella Woodfire and A Chocolate Cake

If you follow me on any of my social media sites, you'll know that Mr. AMW and I celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary and on November 3 our 19th years together!  

You do the math...if you can't...let's just say...we've spend more than half of our lifetime together..and I LOVE EVERY SINGLE DAY OF IT!

So cheesy right?  Well, I'm lucky God really gave me not only a partner, but my best friend for life!  I can't imagine breathing a single minute without him!  He's my number 1 fan, my ultimate support-system and he is the reason why I am THIS cheerful and positive!  Happy nth year anniversary to us Mr. AMW!

To be honest (again, not being too cheesy), everyday is really like an anniversary celebration to us.  It really boils down to who we are as a couple and let me tell you straight-out, we are extremely child-like and little things in life really make us happy!

So our 8th year celebration wasn't extremely grand but for us, it was the grandest for us because we get to spend time together amidst the extremely busy schedule.

Since I go out most of the time for meetings and blog events, I usually take notes on restaurants I've tried and liked!  So I've decided to be the "man" and take him out for lunch at Stella Woodfire.  I've dined in this restaurant a couple of times but I felt the ambiance, the location and the food is perfect for both of us.

On the day we celebrated our 8th year Wedding Annivesary (more details tomorrow!), the hubby went on work leave and accompanied me to events then finished off the rest of the day with some bonding!

One of the things we love to do even way back in college was to shop!  Not clothes nor shoes but household items!  Yes we are THAT practical!

So finally, we got the chance to shop at SM Beauty Section and Watsons Pharmacy section after my quick event and I realized, there are some things that are always present in the "basket".

I used to be a regular pH Care variant user and when I was sent these 2 new variants, I gave it a try right away and guess what?  Both variants jumped up to my favorite intimate wash scent!  And what I love about these is that they are made with all-natural ingredients --- Papaya and Guava extract.

After almost finishing up my Guava variant, I can say, they are non-drying, extremely comfortable to use and the scent is extremely nice!
