Peel and Polish by Petra Skintreats Review

Peeling?

Exfoliating?
*runs on the other side and hides*

I am always scared of skincare that seems to treat my skin harshly, because, is there peeling that is safe?

Thankfully, there are!  Brands nowadays are coming up with products that are safe even for sensitive skin users like me!

I started using Peel & Polish after trying out other Pixi Skintreats products and found no negative reactions to it.  So can I just say, this was the last product I took the courage to try!

"This radiance revealing enzyme peel resurfaces for smoother, softer skin, and a healthy looking glow.  Natural fruit enzymes loosen dead skins cells, lactic acid gently exfoliates, cellulose peels & sugar extracts polishes, lifting away dullness revealing brighter skin.  Professional salon peel treatment without leaving home suited on all skin types and is not tested on animals, Paraben-Free."

You Pick Your Summer Romance!

And no, I'm not talking about a pick between your colleague, your neighbor or maybe that guy you met at the coffee shop....

We're talking about Romance between YOU and Your nails!

Girlstuff Nail Polish - one of my favorite safe polish brand recently launched their Summer 2018 collection!  Just when I thought it just look like the usual "ho-hum" bright, summer colors...this totally blew my mind!

SUMMER COLLECTION
Php750.00 for the whole set
Available HERE or any Girlstuff Counters near you

Just so you know, PHOTOS do not do justice!  You have to check the collection IN PERSON to understand what I'm trying to say!

This collection speaks to the Summer homebody (me!), the beach babes (I wish that's me but not for this year!), the summer nerds (me pa din!) , in short, this collection speaks SUMMER FOR ALL AGES and for ALL PERSONALITIES!

Beach Babe
At first glance this may look like a teal-colored polish but applied on me, it looks Pastel Mint Green!  I love how the color changes in different individuals!  I love how refreshing this color made me feel!

Maybelline Tattoo Brow Ink Pen Review

But don't worry, as similar as they are in packaging and applicator, the similarities stopped there as Maybelline came up with their own version of "Shades for Filipinas".  I love the Cathy Doll Realbrow 4D Tattoo Tint but I'm happy to expand my collection with more shade choices!

Maybelline Tattoo Brow Ink Pen
Php399.00

There are a total of 3 shades to choose from - Gray Brown, Red Brown and Natural Brown.  I like it that their shade choices covers almost all brow hair color that most Filipinas have.

Gray Brown would be perfect for those who have Ash tone hair, red brown for those who colored their hair red while Natural Brown would be perfect for those with light brown, medium brown hairs!

Packaging
The packaging itself doesn't have the shade names printed, all I can do is guess by looking at the cap!  It is confusing on my part since I own all 3 shades!  So it's time to label them especially if I plan to use them on my gigs because they are actually PRO quality!

How to: Quick and Easy "Glass Skin"

Glass Skin is now a craze!  I have never thought of getting into the bandwagon of creating one because who really appreciates Glass Skin?  Those living in North Pole and South Pole maybe?  Those who don't mind piling on serums, moisturizers, oil on top of that, adding more "glowing" makeup products to create that clear, luminous and glowing skin!

Then, recently, I've noticed that my makeup application is creating more "glow", I even caught a lot of you sending DMs to me over Instagram asking me to do a tutorial on "How to Create Glass Skin."

Baka "Accidental Glass Skin" is what you mean.  As I never intend to really have that Glass Skin effect, I'm just one busy gal who wants to cut-short my makeup routine and thus, created something really nice as an effect!

Would you believe that you can create Glass Skin with skincare (long term) but you can fake one with makeup?  I DID!  And best of all, it was a combination of Skincare + Makeup so my skin gets benefited from it!

My Version of a Glass Skin!

And you don't need gazillion products to create one!  All you need is a ---
1. Matte Foundation.
2. A Whitening Cream that gives instant whitening effect.

The products I picked to create this tutorial is The Body Shop Matte Clay Skin Clarifying Foundation  and my newfound perfect-looking skin discovery - Esfolio Snow Whitening Cream!
