My Thoughts on Tony Moly's Tony Tint Delight and The Better Application Technique

If you ask me what my favorite reddish lip and cheek tint is, hands down, my answer will be the Benetint!  (Review HERE)

But I know, the price tag may stop you especially if you're a student reading this post!  So I scoured on the next best thing --- The Body Shop's Lip and Cheek Tint.  (Review HERE)

Then, of course, I've read a lot of queries on Tony Moly's newest tint called Tony Tint Delight, priced less than Php200.00, I must give this a test and see how it goes!

Tony Tint Delight is available in 2 shades: 01 Cherry Pink and 02 Red

Gift Guide: For Brush Lovers

Ohhh, the year 2014 is almost ending and I have so much to share about my great 2014 finds!  Just in case you don't know, I have been randomly giving out my favorite items on Instagram and/or Facebook so please follow both my FB and IG account (@AskMeWhats).

Now on to one of my favorite brush brand!  If you met me in person, on the job as a MUA, you'll see that I highly use my Charm Pro Brush set together with my individual MAC brushes because these babies really delivery!  I have been using them constantly for years and so far, I am still very happy with the quality (as long as you take good care of them).

For all my CHARM Brushes review, please click LINK HERE

And who would've thought the brand came up with 2 new brush sets perfect for gift-giving?  Maybe you don't have Brush-loving friends but you love makeup brushes yourself?  No one can deny the fact that receiving a good set of makeup brushes this Christmas can make you feel extra good!

New Charm Pocket 5pc Brush Set in Black
Php500.00 (approx $10.50)
This is the sleek black version of the Pink Pocket Brush set (reviewed HERE).  As much as I would love to say that almost all "kikays" love pink!  I am wrong!  I have a lot of kikay friends who wanted a set that isn't too "girly" so this black version is perfect for emergency makeup retouches and you can slip this inside a big, medium and small bag!

Something New: Charm Double Duty Makeup Brush Set

How many brush sets do I really need?
If you're Nikki Tiu, A LOT!
I'm OC when it comes to my client so I always bring at as many brushes as I can especially on a Bridal Gigs.  Why?  Because I'm too in a hurry to clean my brushes on spot so I'd rather use a clean brush instead on each client!

On a negative side, since I bring almost ALL the brushes I own on a gig, I don't have good brushes left for myself!  Can you believe that???

When I got the Charm Essentials Vegan Brush Set, I finally have a set I call MY OWN!  I even brought the set with me when I traveled to the US early this year.  And because I like giving and I enjoy making other people happy!  I ended up giving my personal brush set to Keith's cousin who has been such a gracious host when we visited them in L.A.!  I didn't know she was into makeup (thus I didn't prepare Kikay gift) but upon peeking inside the room and saw that she uses mineral makeup, an idea crossed that the Vegan Brush Set would be a perfect match for her mineral makeup!

It is true when they say, when you are into giving, God will definitely give you something in return.  And the turnover was quite fast!  During our Splash Of Summer Party (all thanks to my Sampleroom family), each of us received goody bag and what made me squeal?  The Charm Double Duty Makeup Brush Set!

The set looks like this!  Sorry for the ruined box as it was squashed inside a lootbag filled with loads of products!

TADAH!  No matter how much brush sets I own, this made my heart flutter!

AMW Version: Happy Heart's Month Look

Happy Wednesday AMW Friends!
Today, as promised, I will be sharing an "AMW Version" post a.k.a. step-by-step makeup tutorial as inspired by the "Heart's Month".  I've created day time and night time Valentine's day look on my last post using L'Oreal Color Riche lipsticks and the night time looks won with a landslide!  I guess you guys are tired seeing me in neutral looks huh? Well, all your wishes are my command!  Thanks for emailing me your requests and I'll try my best to do more looks and more tutorials!

Here's how it looks like when I'm doing the "dramatic" look *lol*

This is How I Do It: My Inglot Freedom Palette Look

Happy Friday!!!
I am looking forward for this weekend but I am definitely NOT resting at all!  There's just so many things to do and there are times I pray I have 2 bodies!  *lol*  Do you feel the same?

Well, I'm busy preparing for a "trip" (will talk more about it when it's finalized) plus...moving out...and Baby Kyle's First Birthday Party!  Wish me luck!  I hope I can manage this!

I recently blogged about my new Inglot Freedom Palette and I created a simple look using all the products included in my Freedom Palette.  Thanks to my dear reader Theresa for requesting a tutorial on this!  I hope this simple tutorial helps newbies out there! :D

AMW Reviews: SOFFIA Opulence All Over Face Brush and Blending Brush

Did you know that each time I deep clean my brushes (a.k.a. wash my brushes with brush soap and water) on a weekend, I have this voice inside my head saying: "These brushes are enough!"

And each time I see a new brush set or brand right in front of me (especially those that are made with high quality), my arms go wide and say: "Come to mama!"

#MatigasTalagaAngUlo #SabikSaBrushes

When I attended SampleRoom's Thanksgiving party months ago, one of the many exciting things I found in the SampleRoom Eco bag is a black box with a name SOFFIA printed in Gold.  I immediately thought of Sophia Loren right away --- Box pa lang classy na!

Upon opening the box, I felt like there was a spotlight going straight to the 2 brushes with black handle, gold ferrule --- my kind of color combination.

SOFFIA Opulence Brushes

On my blog, I am featuring the 2 brushes I got and I've been using these 2 ever since the SOFFIA world begin! :P

Eureka Moment: Brush Guards

Hi AMW Friends!  I posted about The Brush Guard 4 years ago and I got it from online shopping!  Honestly speaking, I have been using them for 4 long years now and loving them to bits!  The problem though, my brushes are increasing in number but I didn't get to increase the number of my brush guards!  Why?  Well, I'm too lazy to shop online (internationally) again as the waiting game is too much and I have to pick ALL my packages at the Local Post Office, that's difficult considering I have a day job!

So yup, it was only me and 6 pcs. Brush Guards for 4 long years, it was a wonderful relationship between us but I would like to have a "third party" to spice up our relationship *laughs*

Thankfully, because of Sample Room, I got to know Charm Brush Guards!  (Shame on me I didn't get the time to browse the Beauty & Minerals site as I will definitely purchase this early on if I have known!)

EUREKA MOMENT!

Excited to see what's inside?

AMW Reviews: Charm PRO Angled Foundation Brush

I haven't added anything new to my brush collection for quite some time!  Don't get me wrong, I still have a lot of brush lemmings but I have to stop myself from purchasing so much because I have a hard time washing them!

Brush addicts?  Just imagine yourself standing in front of the sink!  Ahhh...pain on the back and legs!  (signs of old age)  *lol*

But ONE isn't too much, right?  Who can skip this unique brush meant for foundations, BB Creams and CC creams?  I can imagine myself using this on clients for primers and moisturizers application!

AMW Reviews: All-Belle False Eyelashes

Happy April Fools' Day!  Try not to get fooled today okay?

False lashes, we all know our eyes will look great with them but some of you (like me) are probably too lazy to apply or use this "secret beauty weapon" on a daily basis!  Ahhh, if only I have a "lash robot" who automatically place the false lashes on me after I wash my face!  #ActsOfSloth *laughs*

When I was handed by my dear blogger friend Sophie to try/test out the false eyelashes that was raved by one of my favorite makeup artist from Taiwan Kevin, the makeup artist behind Beautymaker Cosmetics (feel free to read my first Beautymaker cosmetics review HERE), I know this brand is worth checking out for!

I requested for an everyday, all-natural lashes as I plan to keep this for myself and...ahem...if I have the energy, to try to use this as much as possible just like the gorgeous girls I see in Tokyo!  Of course I wasn't able to do it with my current situation but these lashes are definitely reusable as I've reused my first pair for 3 times and still counting!

AMW Reviews: Palgantong Vita White BB Cream SPF30 PA++

BB Creams --- a huge gift from the Beauty God!  Since my first discovery of the famous Blemish Balm Creams, I never stopped using them as my skin can tends to breathe better.  How?  The answer is simple,  I tend to use less foundation or  none on a good skin days!

I have tons of "BB Creams"-related queries and the most common question is: "What's the best BB Cream for me?".   I'm very consistent in explaining to readers on how difficult it is to find the best BB cream for you without you having to test them on your own.

Yes, beauty bloggers are everywhere and almost all beauty bloggers I know have tried at least 1 BB Cream brand!  You can probably pick the best BB Cream for you based on a Beauty Blogger who has the same skin type or skin tone as you do but bear in mind that at the end of the day, our skin are uniquely different from others!  Skin 79 VIP Gold may be the best BB Cream for me but a friend of mine suffered serious allergic reactions to it!  My friend swore on Missha BB Cream but it didn't work for me as it gave me the itch!

Can we blame the BB Cream brands?  No!  That's why I always explain to BB Cream fanatics to do researches, read reviews and then test them!  Ask a friend who owns the brand of BB Cream you want to give you a sample or go to the stores and ask if they offer samples!

At the end of the day, the best way to find the best BB cream for you is to test them on your skin!

And why the fuzz over BB Creams?  It's a no-brainer that my review for today is (yet another) BB Cream called Palgantong Vita White BB Cream!

(Note from author: I've seen Palgantong products everywhere when I visited Tokyo!  The products were selling like hotcakes!)

Palgantong says ---
This is a one of a kind BB Cream, when wore, results in a poreless, flawless complexion. It also has great coverage that can blur out minor imperfections. SPF 30 PA++ blocks off UVA and UVB rays. It also brightens your complexion as you wear it throughout the day. Long-lasting, and great even for oily skin.

Some other special points of this product :
* has good coverage
* has good sun protection against burning and aging
* gives your skin a hydrated look
* contains various including Vitamin B3, C and E, & Pearl Extract to reduce the appearance of spots.
* brightens the skin
* creamy coverage minimizes the look of fine lines and wrinkles
* good coverage but lightweight in feel.

Shades Available :
#10 Light Beige - yellowish in tone
#20 Natural Beige - pinkish in tone

AMW says ---
Pros
  • Well sealed upon purchase.

  • Squeeze type tube.

  • Lightweight.
  • Buildable coverage.  From medium to heavy.
  • Stays the whole day even on humid weather.
  • Matte finish.
  • A little goes a long way.
  • Has SPF30 PA++
  • Happy that the 2 shades are meant for yellowish and pinkish tone.  At least we have both bases covered.
  • Smooth consistency, easy to blend.
Cons
  • Just like most BB Creams, limited shades.
  • Not widely available in the local market.
  • Darker skinned individuals may find this to be light.
  • With direct flash, may create white cast due to its SPF content.
Overall
I'm quite impressed with the Palgantong Vita White BB Cream in terms of its coverage and its creaminess making the product easy to blend.  The scent is mild and leaves skin looking fresh the whole day!

Tips
  • If you have sensitive skin, do a patch test.
  • BB Cream application comes after skin care routine.
  • Apply with clean fingers.  Massage gently and wait for the product to settle down before going to the next makeup routine.
  • If you have dry skin, it is best to moisturize your skin properly then follow with the BB Cream.
  • If you have extremely dry skin, mix a bit of your favorite moisturizer with the BB Cream.  I've done it and I love the result.
  • If you have oily skin, you can apply Palgantong Vita White BB Cream as it is as it will result into a fresh, matte finish.
  • If you have good-looking skin to start with, top the BB Cream with your choice of loose powder.  Oily skin would appreciate following this up with Palgantong's Theatrical Powder.  (I tried this combo and it dried out my skin even more!  Note: I have normal/dry skin!)
  •  If you need more coverage, set the BB Cream with powder foundation of choice.  This is the best time to adjust your BB Cream shade.  If this is too light on you, it's time to bring out those powder foundations you bought in the past that's a bit too dark on you!
  • Felt the effect is too matte for your taste?  Pull out your brightening powders or face highlighters!
Will I repurchase?
I may not repurchase for now as I have a lot of BB Creams to finish up.  I wouldn't mind recommending this to others though!

To whom do I recommend this to?
Normal, Combination, Oily skinned individuals are all welcome to try this!  Best for NC20-35 MAC users.

Where to purchase and how much?
Online via Beauty & Minerals for Php1,200.00 (approx $28.00).

 Photos

The box is written in Japanese.  To those who don't know, Palgantong the brand is from Japan!  I've seen a lot of girls in Tokyo Japan grabbing random Palgantong Products.  They're selling like hot-pancakes there!

The shade I got is #10
Light Beige

A tiny amount shows true light beige shade.

No sparkles.
Coverage is buildable and I'm quite impressed with its pigmentation.'
The color did not came off grey like other BB creams.

Light Beige seems to be too light for my skin

But after a minute or 2, the product settled and it blends into my skin quite well!  With this BB Cream, I like finishing this up with a medium beige shade of powder foundation or bronzer to give more life to my overall look.

Before and After (Applied Palgantong Vita White BB Cream alone)
My skin looks more even and the redness were gone.

Here's a photo after powder foundation application that's a shade darker than my skin.
It made my skin looks healthier.

Have you tried any Palgantong products?
I used to purchase them at Greenhills but the store closed down!  At present I own 3 Palgantong products --- The Vita White BB Cream, The Sky Long Mascara and Theatrical Powder.

I'd love to try more!  Any other recommendations?

AMW Reviews: Charm Angled Kabuki Buffer Brush

Goodness!  It's already Friday!  This week passed by pretty quickly right?  Or was it just me?

Today, I will be sharing a review on one of the newest baby from Charm!  It was a huge HIT for me when Sophie created the Charm Essentials Travel Pointed Brush and I've been very vocal in praising her for a job well done!  Since I got it, I've been using it constantly to apply foundation, concealer and even cream blush!

Then, I was told 2 more new brushes will be launched at the same time with the Travel Pointed Brush, I nearly brushed off the idea as I'm already contented with what I have.

True to what they say: "You can never have enough brushes!"  --- I'm not sure who said it?  Was it my own voice?  *laughs*

Just when I read good reviews popping out here and there on various blogs, I told myself I need this too!  I need to try this out and see what the fuss was all about!

Charm says ---
The Charm Angled Kabuki Buffer Brush is made of ultra lush bristles that feels like velvet on the skin. Buff in your mineral foundation, powder foundation, or any powder product with this brush!

Its angled shape allows you to efficiently apply your makeup and work thru the folds and contours of the skin so that no spot would be missed out. This very dense brush also allows you to obtain buildable coverage, from light to full!

AMW says ---
Pros
  • Length is perfect for personal and even professional use! (Even if this is not a full sized length)
  • Charm handle never chip and I own a lot of Charm brushes and the logo remains even after all the washing.
  • Brush hairs are synthetic, so perfect for people who are into vegan makeup brushes!
  • Super soft and 100% no scratchy feel!
  • No bleeding nor shedding even on first wash.
  • Multifunctional: Can be used to apply liquid, cream or powdered products.
  • Super dense and gives a nice
  • Inexpensive for the quality you get.

Cons
  • Takes longer to dry as compared to your other face brushes.
Overall
Perfect density.  Very soft.  No bleeding nor shedding.  Super useful!

Tips
  • Always wash new brushes with a baby shampoo prior to usage.  Follow washing instructions.
  • Best way to dry this brush is to lay this on a clean and dry towel, the towel does absorb the extra water and moisture making it quicker to dry!  You can choose to spritz the bristles with brush cleaner after every use then deep cleanse once a week.
  • To create a very natural "contoured" look, pull out your liquid/cream/powdered foundation that's a bit darker than your original skin color, apply the darker foundation on areas that you want to recede.  (Hollows of cheeks, temples, sides of nose, chin etc..).  With your shade of foundation, buff the product on the rest of your face blending with the darker foundation!
  • If you used this brush to apply liquid or cream products, try not to use this to apply powdered products.  If you must, use a quick drying makeup cleaner in between.
  • The perfect way to use this brush (personally) is by BUFFING then SLIDING!  You buff like regular kabuki brush then slide downwards with the longer bristles facing top to create not only flawless but super natural-looking skin!  (As foundation application should be the same direction as the growth of your facial hair.)
  • Must....own!
Will I repurchase?
I won't need to repurchase as all my Charm brushes are still working to date.  I would highly recommend this to friends and YOU.

To whom do I recommend this to?
Anyone who loves to "buff" their powder foundation or likes to apply liquid/cream foundation using a brush!

Where to purchase and how much?
Php650.00 (approx $15.00) at Beauty and Minerals Website.
If you want to see the brushes up close and personal, you can check them out at PurBeauty, Serendra and The Ramp, Crossings at Shangri-La Plaza Branch Ground Floor.

 Charm Angled Kabuki Buffer Brush
Up close
The length of brush hair is perfect for buffing.  The slanted tip works perfect especially when placed on the hollows of your cheeks.

Top view:
The tip of the brush is also perfect for liquid/cream foundation application!

Did you know that?
You save a lot of your makeup by using a brush instead of sponge or your fingers.

Perfect density
The brush hairs go back to its original place no matter how much I try to "mess it up"!

On regular no-makeup makeup look, I prefer to use a darker powder to be applied on areas of my face that I would like to contour.

BUFF and SLIDE!

Happy AMW!

The Charm Angled Kabuki Buffer Brush may seem like a brush that you want but do not need.  In truth, once you get to try the angled version of a buffer brush, you will enjoy the luxurious feeling of sweeping this brush on your skin and the "contoured" effect it natural gives due to its angled tip!  I ended up using this brush in applying my blush and contouring powder too, okay, even my setting powder!  Sorry Angled K-Brush, you're overused!

Have you tried Angled K-Brush?
Is it from Charm or from other brands?
Do you like it?  I"d love to hear from you!

AMW Reviews: Charm Essentials Travel Pointed Foundation Brush

For someone who owns 3 professional brush sets and a couple of travel sets, you'd think I've seen and owned them all!

WRONG!

Recently, my dearest friend Sophie (who just celebrated her birthday) gifted me a gorgeous brush that's meant to be kept inside my makeup pouch!  (Sorry dear clients, I'm claiming this for personal use!)

I've been meaning to blog about this last week but I have to wait for Charm to launch this brush first before I blab away!  Thankfully, this was launched 2 days ago and I'm so happy as the price is affordable so this gorgeous brush is within reach!

Charm says ---
This ultra-versatile foundation brush applies and blends cream/liquid products to a flawless finish, and features a gently tapered tip that allows precision on targeted areas. Perfect for concealing and foundation application.

Our On-the Go Pointed Foundation Brush will blend in perfectly with your existing travel makeup kit, that you may never have to scrimp on flawless coverage wherever you go!

AMW says ---
Pros
  • Has the usual Charm Pink handle.
  • Versatile - can be used to apply liquid/cream foundations, cream blush, concealer etc...
  • Super soft, synthetic hair.  No scratchy feel.
  • The pointed tip makes it easy to reach to areas like under the eyes, sides of the nose, etc...
  • No shedding nor bleeding even on first wash.
  • The brush hairs are dense and not flimsy at all!
  • Though this is a travel size, the brush head is as good as PRO-sized brush.
  • Inexpensive for the quality.
Cons
  • Like any foundation brush, it takes double the effort to wash the brush properly as cream/liquid products are more difficult to remove.
Overall
Versatile brush that has the right density and control to create light, medium to heavy coverage!

Tips
  • Wash upon purchase.
  • If the brush is used with cream or liquid products, mix your baby shampoo with Extra Virgin Olive Oil or you may purchase inexpensive cleansing oils before washing it off with baby shampoo.
  • After every use, it helps to wipe off some of the products on a clean towel or makeup remover wipes to prevent makeup from sticking into the brush hairs making it extra difficult to wash.
  • If used to apply foundation: Dot foundation on areas of your skin that needed the most coverage, with Charm Essentials Travel Pointed Foundation Brush, brush the foundation downwards blending the foundation to the skin making sure to cover all areas.
  • If used to apply concealer/correction:  Dot the concealer on your problem areas by using your fingers, using the pointed tip of Charm Essentials Travel Pointed Foundation Brush, gently brush off hard edges to make it look more natural.
  • If you plan to take this along for travel, it pays to put this brush inside a zip lock or use a brush protector to prevent stains on your makeup pouch.
Will I repurchase?
I won't need to repurchase another one but I highly recommend this to others!

To whom do I recommend this to?
Anyone who likes to apply liquid/cream products with the use of brush!

Where to purchase and how much?
Available at Beauty and Minerals for Php399.00 (approx $9.30).  Also available at PurBeauty  Serendra, Crossings Shangri-la, Crossings Trinoma.  For readers based in Singapore, Charm makeup brushes are available via LushShop

Product photo and usage

A closer look on Charm Essentials Travel Pointed Foundation Brush
Brush hairs are synthetic (animal-friendly) and has a nice density.  The slanted portion of the brush (shown on photo below) makes blending a breeze with just a few downward strokes.  By using a brush in foundation application, you use lesser product and creates a more even, flawless finish.

For concealer application
I prefer dotting the concealer with my fingers on areas needed then gently brush off with soft, feather-like motion to make concealing more natural.

For Foundation Application
As I dot foundation on the center of my face, I use the brush to lightly spread the foundation using downwards stroke.  I like concentrating on foundation application at the center of my face as that's were most of my redness shows!

It's best to always step back and check your foundation application, make sure everything is seamless then set with your preferred setting powder.

I actually requested Sophie to create a bigger version of this as I originally thought it would take me forever to apply foundation with a travel sized brush!  After road testing this new brush from Charm, I can happily shut my mouth!  I don't need to request for a bigger version as the brush size is equivalent to a full sized brush!  That's a huge value for money!

How do you feel about Charm's newest brush?
Do you need the Pointed Foundation brush in your life?
Why or why not?

AMW Reviews: Charm PRO Makeup Artist Toolbelt

I have been using the most inexpensive toolbelt for quite some time!  It has helped me breezed through various gigs and don't get me wrong, I am very happy with it!

BUT,

I've encountered some shoots that demand "more touch ups" and there were times that I don't have enough space on my tiny toolbelt for bronzing powders, setting powders or bulky body glitters and lipsticks!  I tried to steer clear from the regular makeup toolbelts sold in the market as they are mostly meant for holding brushes! (and I don't need just that!)

When Sophie and I met up for The Hunger Games premier night c/o Nuffnang Philippines, she brought 2 Charm PRO Makeup Artist Toolbelts.  One in black and one for pink.  Everyone would think I'd go for pink but I honestly thought of going for black as it looks more professional!  *teehee*  I guess the "unprofessional-look during professional work" is what I'm aiming for! :)  But seriously, the hot pink got me!

Charm says ---
  • Made with handpicked fabric, design that is elegant and professional at the same time.
  • Made with a premium fabric that is light.
  • Made with textured fabric that is really, really easy to clean. Its textured fabric quality makes it easy to clean, as easy as just using wipes! You will never have stain woes on your makeup toolbelt again!
  • 20 slots for makeup brushes ( that one slot that can fit 2-3 small makeup brushes or one big makeup brush for each slot ) and lots of extra slots and pockets that you will love utilizing - for your tweezers, scissors, and other beauty tools!
  • Comes with a flap for that extra hygiene and will not cause your brushes to get scattered in your bag when traveling.
  • A zipper at the back of the toolbelt that you can even put in your palettes and some makeup there!
Dimensions :
Width : 13.5 inches
Height : 12 inches
Belt is adjustable and can fit everyone.

Colors : Pink and black

AMW says ---
Pros
  • I've seen both black and pink and they are both good-looking!
  • The fabric used is indeed very easy to clean.
  • The brush pockets are wide in space so I can easily put back the brushes with not much effort.
  • I can store a lot of tools (tweezers, eyelash glue, scissors etc..), I can also store a whole makeup palette at the zippered portion.
  • I love the space where you can put your business cards!
  • The zippered space at the back side is a nice BONUS!  I can put more makeup or even hair clips here! (I even put my mobile phone here! hehehe)
  • The flap is fold-able, you can fold it to protect your brushes and unfold it when you're at work!
  • The belt is adjustable and very comfortable to use.
  • The color is unique and eye-catchy!
Cons
  • I can't seem to find one for now.
Overall
I have used this on one very important shoot for a client, the touch up area and makeup area is quite far so I'm glad I have the Charm PRO Makeup Artist Toolbelt which saves me from going back and forth to 2 different rooms!

Tips
  • I still prefer to put used makeup brushes on one side so I will know which brushes I need to clean at the end of the day.
  • Wipe stains immediately with brush cleaner wipes.
  • It would be cute to put your own "buttons" or clips to personalize your toolbelt!
Will I repurchase?
Not for now.  This one seems like it's going to last me for long! :)

To whom do I recommend this to?
Professional Makeup artists.

Where to purchase and how much?

AMW Reviews: 3s Pre-glued Lashes

"I can't apply false lashes on myself!  It's just too difficult!" --- that's one of the many few lines I read and hear from friends who are into makeup, who likes the idea of long and full lashes but hates the false lashes application!

I understand!  Even I, as a makeup artist, who knows how to apply false lashes gets really lazy to do it!  That's why when pre-glued lashes came out in the market, I am very happy to give it a try as I want to prettify myself in less effort as possible.

The first pre-glued lashes I've tried is from Revlon, but they never made it to our country!  I find the pre-glued lashes are a great invention but there are times it just won't stick as much and it's embarrassing to walk around with weird looking lashes!  So I always end up applying a lash glue still just to make sure it sticks!

3S Pre-Glued False Eyelashes

Delicate

Adorable
3S Pre-Glued Lashes says ---
All our pre-glued eyelash products are made with latex-free adhesive strand and 100% sterilized human hair or synthetic fiber are carefully handmade by our artisans according to the diversity of our style designs.

These can be used over and over again, as the adhesive strip attached to the eyelash can be removed if the adhesive does not seem to stick anymore on perhaps the 3rd use. You can replace it with the extra adhesive strip inside the pack, and you're good to go! Once the adhesive strips don't work anymore, feel free to remove them and use regular glue. These lashes are very durable and they can last you a long, long time!

AMW says ---
Pros
  • Gorgeous packaging!  Can you believe the product comes with a mirror?
  • Instructions on box are easily to follow.
  • Once it stick it, it stays the whole day.
  • The lashes are soft and doesn't irritate my eyes.
  • Lightweight.
  • Has a spare pre-glued strand included.
  • These lashes are made of high quality so using it again and again with care is possible!
  • I actually tested one pair by being super harsh on it (pulling and just leaving it elsewhere, the lashes are still ok and looking good!) --- Lash Police!  I'm just a tester! Not a murderer! *lol*
  • You save up more if you can use these lashes multiple times.
  • Changing the spare pre-glued strand is actually easy!
  • The dark pre-glued strand makes it look like you have eyeliner on.
Cons
  • A bit pricey at first glance, BUT, if you know how to take care of your lashes and you can re-use this again and again.
  • The pre-glued are not forever!  You will still use a regular lash glue once you finished up the extra pre-glued strand.
  • It takes a bit of time getting used to using this as the glue strip is a bit thicker.
Overall
These lashes are best for personal use.  The lashes are soft, durable and lightweight.  Easy to use for first-time false lashes wearers even experts would appreciate these!

Tips
  • Store the false lashes back to its packaging after every use.
  • Remove the sticky side of the lashes with a tweezer.
  • Pull the lashes downwards using your thumb as shown on photo below.  This is the best way to maintain the shape of the lashes.
  • Trim the lashes on the outer corner to fit your eyelid.
  • I prefer applying these false lashes first prior to makeup application.  I find the glue to adhere better.
  • Gently wipe the lashes with a damp cloth or cotton bud with makeup remover to clean the lashes from fall-outs.
  • To remove pre-glued strand, hold the lashes in the center and gently pull off.
  • Attach the eyelash only spare pre-glued strand on the stand and press with your fingertips, since I have long nails, I use the back of the tweezers to gently press.
  • Once you finished up both pre-glued strands, feel free to use the lashes with a regular glue, it'll look even more natural as the lash line will appear less thick.

A closer look on the 2 Pre-glued lashes styles I own ---

Delicate

Delicate may look "vava-voom" on my eye photo below but it's because I do not have eye makeup on.  Once you completed your look with an eye makeup, it'll look nature and indeed...delicate!

 Adorable

Adorable has mixed thick and thin lashes.  Same as Delicate, the longest lashes are located at the center which tends to open up your eyes making it appear bigger and brighter!

Sample look with Delicate
Without eye makeup though
The glue made it look like I have eyeliner on!

Can you apply false lashes on yourself?
If not, would you give pre-glued lashes a try?
