Weekend Food Trip at: King Chef Fine Dining

Before I attended the launch of King Chef Fine Dining 2 years ago, I knew about the restaurant way back and dined at their restaurant during Soft Opening .

Several years after, our family still enjoyed visiting the restaurant as aside from the good location, the restaurant itself is spacious, clean and the servers are always attentive to our needs!

It was my brother's birthday and we've decided to have a simple dinner at King Chef Fine Dining!

Something New: Lancome Visionnaire Yeux

Hi AMW Friends!
It's Saturday!  Finally, I have a day "off"!  Well, not from being a mom but from all the work-related activities!  I've been out a lot this week and missing my baby so much so I'm definitely bonding with Baby Kyle over the weekend.

Let's talk about skincare, since I have baby AMW with me like a tiny kangaroo inside my "pouch" (translation: I carry him most of the time), I make sure to use "safe" skincare products so I haven't really been taking care of my skin lately!  Now that Baby AMW is growing at 5 months old, I'm getting back to my skincare routine and that MUST include the eye product!  I have used moisturizers again but have skipped eye products so I can definitely see some under eye darkness and puffiness appearing! 

There is something new for me to try from Lancome called Visionnaire Yeux.... I have just started using this product so I can share to you for now is my initial review.

AMW Makeovers: Bea and Claire

I am so excited to share another AMW Makeover post, I  haven't done a makeover posts for quite some time but now, I'm back with a vengeance!  I am very thankful that I still get clients even if I was "on leave" for several months after giving birth!  

I got a text message from my dear friend who's currently the Brand Manager of Silka, she asked me to do her makeup on the company's anniversary party!  Who am I to say no?  She has been very supportive of my makeup artistry and I can clearly remember the times I practice my makeup skills on her!  

It has been several years after so I'm really excited to prettify her again!

Bea has always been on a "safe side" in terms of eye shadow shades, it has always been golds and browns so that day, I suggested she gets out of her shell and try on something different, something she doesn't sport much and it's definitely a smokey eye makeup! 

Thankfully, Bea felt the same about the change and gamely asked me to do whatever I think would work for her!  It was a night event so a smoky eye makeup is perfect!

Recently, my brother had a quick stopover at Hong Kong prior to coming back to Manila, he messaged me asking me what I need from Sasa (yes, my dear brother shops at Sasa for his darling little sister!)  and you guessed it right --- brow products!

So when I received a nice package from Smile of Updated Trends, I can't help but squeal as she probably read my mind!  I love collecting brow products, from pencils, brow liners to brow gels!  Companies make them?  I want them all! 

So the BCL B&C Browlash Ex Water Strong W Eyebrow is definitely a new brand for me!  The day I received this, I immediately gave this a test even when I was just staying at home!  That's what product reviewers do!  Stay pretty even inside the house *winks* :P

 

AMW Reviews: Hayan BB Cream Perfect Skin Cover

One of the most requested makeup product to be reviewed is BB Cream!  I can't blame you!  I can still recall the time I went BB-crazed!  I was online at Ebay almost all day searching for various BB creams to try!  I started with Major Korean Brands like Etude House, Tony Moly, Skin79, Lioele, The Face Shop, Skin Food, etc...

Then I went ahead trying out western version of BB creams from Estee Lauder, Clinique, Bobbi Brown, etc..

Then there's the Japanese brand called FairyDrops (which I LOVE by the way!)  

Then there's inexpensive brands like Avon, Maybelline...you'll think I'm over with BB creams by now?  NA-AH! 

Recently, Hayan Korea kept in touch with various bloggers to try out their products (that explains why you see a lot of Hayan reviews online), and I'm one of the lucky bloggers who get to try and test their products!  (it wasn't an easy job I tell you especially if we're talking about BB creams!)  So after using this product on and off for a couple of months, I'm finally ready to share my thoughts on this BB cream!
