AMW Reports: TW Steel #WhyNotBoth Event

Are you team slim or oversized watch?
I used to be a team slim but ever since I saw bulky watches turning out to be more fashionable nowadays, I'm actually leaning on to the bulky watches but of course, the "bulkiness" has its limits!  Though I'm not a petite person, my wrist and hands are almost the same as a petite person (okay, that's too much information) but you get the drift when it comes to me choosing my watches!

And let's not forget the fact that I'm born with a dad who loves watches dearly, I got his watch-loving genes so I am very particular in investing on watches that I like and making sure I can use them on various occasions!

That's why when it comes to watches ranging Php15,000 above, I make sure I can wear them as often as I can and choosing an oversized watch may be cute but may not work for formal events!

That's when TW Steel, the Big in Oversized Watches company says: "Why Not Both?"

I knew about TW Steel years ago when I visited their Podium Boutique.  I was searching for a nice, not so overly expensive watch as a gift for my brother.  As much as I would love to give him TW Steel, the slim line aren't available back then and my brother has small wrist as well and prefers slim watches!

Finally, this Dutch Brand created a Slim Line range which comprised of 10 executions, available only in 45mm dimension with the choice of steel or A-grade PVD rose gold plated cases.  And of course, the beauty is not only on the exterior but TW Steel is a beauty inside as well!  All models utilize a Miyota 1S13 slim movement!  All models of the Slim Line Collection are embellished with sapphire crystals.

TW1300 to TW1305 (SRP Php18,000) sport a stylish turn edge leather croco-print strap
TW1306 and TW1307 (SRP Php21,000) features steel bracelets

AMW Reviews: Glamglow Thirstymud Hydrating Treatment

When it comes to face mask, I usually go for sheets because they are very easy and convenient to use and non-messy at all!  Now let's talk about "mud" treatment, doesn't that sound too messy?  Too tedious to apply on face and you wish for someone professional to apply them for you?

I hear you!

Not with GlamGlow!  I have to be honest with you, I was given this product as a press sample and let's be honest, I was a bit wary to use this because mud mask is definitely not my thing so I actually left this on my table for quite awhile and wish the product would come up with a review of its own (laughs!)

Yes, I've tried Glamglow Youth Mud and like the results but I would still highly prefer it for my readers with oily skin!  Though Youth Mud did great in terms of brightening and "tightening", I feel like I needed something more to address the issue of dryness!

Just when I needed hydration the most, the week Baby AMW was fuzzy due to teething (again), I spent sleepless nights taking care of him instead of my skin, so again, my used to be soft and supple skin went back to it's flaky state!  I had to call for help!

Then I took a quick glance at the aqua blue packaging of GlamGlow and it got me at "THIRSTYMUD HYDRATING TREATMENT".

Without any second thoughts, I gave it a try and I've been doing this treatment for the next 3 weeks (2x a week) and I'm ready to share my thoughts!

AMW Reports: ARTDECO Jungle Fever Collection Launch

I haven't visited an ARTDECO booth for the longest time!  The last was when I purchased their Eyeshadow Primer as a gift to my Blogger friend from abroad.

When I got an invite to take a peek on their newest collection called the Jungle Fever, I immediately said yes because I have always been a fan of anything that has to do with "bronzing".  Quick tip to my fellow makeup enthusiasts!  Bronzing powders are instant "Goddess" to all of us!  I have discovered how much I love bronzers when I gave birth and stayed at home for a year and I look almost pale and ....ahmm..lifeless!  *laughs*  So yeah, there must be something exciting from the brand and indeed, I wasn't wrong..I'm never wrong!  *bwahahaha*

The event was held at The Glass Door and upon arrival, the collection grabbed my attention right away!  With prints of exotic flowers and wild animals, ARTDECO didn't call this a Jungle Fever collection for nothing!

But before I talk further about the makeup included in this collection, I eyed a canvass with a sketch of a portrait.  My fellow Bloggers and I were joking around on how much we would like to leave the room because we definitely aren't ready to showcase our artistic side...because we feel like..there's NONE at the moment!

AMW Reviews: Pixi by Petra Tinted Brilliance Balm in Radiant Rose

I have been reaching out lip crayons for the longest time!  It started with Clinique, Revlon, Happy Skin then who would've thought Pixi?

Thanks to Glamourbox I got the chance to learn about the brand!  I have heard about Pixi makeup and thought there are made for teens!  I thought pigmentation would be like those from the "kids" makeup section, meaning, not pigmented and very hard to use!  Thankfully, I'm wrong!

When I got the Pixi by Petra Tinted Brilliance Balm, I got ecstatic because judging by the look of their packaging, it screams professional and really good!

But what made me more excited?  The fact that they got the seal of approval from Ms. O! As in Oprah for 2013 Spring Makeup O-Wards!

How does Radiant Rose look on packaging?  Come on, you're excited to click! :P

AMW Cooks: Pork Giniling with Liver Spread

Happy Sunday!
Yay! My first AMW Cooks segment!  Thank you so much for saying "YES" to AMW Cooks portion and for requesting my first ever recipe to post here!  Keep in mind that I am not (in any way) a professional cook (my sister and brother are way better cooks that I am) but so far, I'm Cantonese (known cooks daw) and I grew up in a family were we almost NEVER dine out!  I've seen my mom slave inside the kitchen to whip out wonderful dishes for a family of 8?  (Grandparents included).

With constant research over the internet and with my habit of asking questions, I was able to create my own version of dishes that I think my family would enjoy! :)

Here I am sharing my first recipe ever for AMW Cooks!  I won't do what professionals do...putting up the specific amount of ingredients needed as I never follow it!  *laughs*  I always follow my tongue and go with the flow!

Here you go!  My Pork Giniling with Liver Spread
