I felt like I'm the most pretty person in the entire world!  (Pagbigyan niyo na!)  

I am a watch collector, it doesn't have to be top of the line luxurious watches but I like all brands and all types of watches nevertheless!  I have a drawer-ful of watches and I like changing them depending on my personality.

So the launch of Tommy Hilfiger New Watch Collection is a perfect timing for me to "shop" for more watch brands out there.

The launch in the Philippines happened last November 16 at Cafe Naya at the Palace and the whole place was transformed to Nautical look!  As we all know, Tommy Hilfiger has been around for quite some time, known as the leading designer lifestyle brand, known for their classic American Cool Style that's preppy with a twist, I am not surprised a collaboration with world's Supermodel Gigi Hadid was in tow!  

And during the event, local Brand Ambassadors for the Watch Brand were present!  Influencers like Chie Filomeno, Janina Manipol and Jessie Yang were there to celebrate the launch with our friends from MGI Luxury Asia Pacific Ltd. and The Watch Store PH.

The brand Fossil has been part of an important event in my life!  You know how Chinese have engagement parties and usually, would go for super expensive watches to display?  Mr. AMW went for the opposite route, we're both practical and chose for a watch that we can both use on a daily basis!  And it was Fossil watches we picked!

So when I got an invite to visit the Fossil boutique at Shangri-la Mall, I knew I had to be there and see what's up!

The store amazed me!  I haven't been to this particular store, heck, I haven't been shopping at stores for quite some times so imagine my amazement when I saw this!

Veloci's Holiday Collection --- CAMO

I used to be an active member of MPFA (Military Police and First Aiders) during my junior and senior years.  Part of the training, we have to go through a month plus of physical training during summer both in school and in mountains (Mt. Makiling to be exact).  So yes, I can still do the Rifle drills, the snake crawl, jumping jacks, making sure my belt and pins are extremely shiny using GLO!  I can even do "square meals" and all those deep masculine voice of "HOH!" 

Yes, I went back to memory lane again when I was at the launch of Veloci Holiday Collection --- CAMO.

The event was held at 100 Miles Cafe and upon entering the location, I had this feeling that we are not only attending an event but I have a feeling we'll be doing something both physical and mental activities!  I was pumped!

It was funny when I told Mr. AMW I will attend a Swarovski Jewelry event, and he went: "Oh, they have jewelries?"  And I answered: "Tsk, you're sooo out of date and clueless!".

AMW Reports: Lacoste Poloshirt in a Watch Collection Launch (Lacoste.12.12)

Last December 12, The Isabella Ballroom C of Makati Shangrila was transformed into a small tennis court.

And of course, I had to grab a watch that matches me (Green for green-minded?  lol)  and pose.  Check out my cheeky smile, the watch fits like a glove, imagine Spiderman wearing his costume for the first time.  It just felt..right!

I've never been to New York but I am definitely putting that on my "must travel list".  Once Kyle gets bigger!

Thankfully, during the Kenneth Cole New York event last Tuesday, KCNY brought New York here in Manila!  Specifically at Makati Shangri-la Hotel!

Who loves watches?

I do!  I really do!  I can't survive a day without wearing one!  Once, in college, I forgot to wear my watch for the whole day, I felt so "naked" and uneasy I kept on looking at my wrist for time!  

As I grew older, my watch collection grew bigger, most of the watches I own are gifts from my husband (mostly from him!) and my brother!  They knew the best gift for me is the gift of Time --- I am one punctual girl and I'm crazy with my schedules! 

And who can imagine how "Watch Shopping" can get any better?  

Since the arrival of WSI (Watch Style Insider).  I recently attended the launch of the first WSI store located at SM Megamall.  WSI is a new retail "destination" where Watch Style is everything, WSI is the latest multi-brand retail concept from Fossil Group.

When I was asked to do a review on my shopping experience at GreatValuePlus.ph, I immediately went to their website and searched for items that catches my attention.  For someone who has been online shopping for more than 8 years, I call myself an online-shopping expert!  :P  

Now I have the title "mommy" added to my "job title", online shopping is definitely my best friend!  I shop online not only for myself but also for gifts to my loved ones!

Upon checking the site, I love the clean, easy to maneuver interface of the website.  I'll share more online shopping tips and tricks below.  For now, I'll share my review on my first online shopping expeirence at greatvalueplus!

AMW Reports: Bensimon DIY Event

Not too long ago, Keith and I used to bond inside a coffee shop just to "chill", but most of the time, we talk about our dreams.  We have been going out for 11 years (before we said "I Do") so that's a lot of talking over coffee!  So many topics to talk about and I actually raised up a topic of creating my own shoes/sandals!  

I want sandals  where I can choose my own straps and designs...it happened with Make Your Own Havaianas.  I want shoes that I can freely paint on...my wish came true with last week's Bensimon DIY event at Rockwell Powerplant.

Okay, the dream became a reality but upon seeing all the "art supplies", me and my blogger friends (Hello Angela and Jackie!) got nervous we actually planned on an escape route leaving our Bensimon pair unscathed! 

But that was only at the back of our heads, we actually had no choice but to muster our courage and pray for divine intervention....well...I was praying for someone to do it for me! :P

I used to be a team slim but ever since I saw bulky watches turning out to be more fashionable nowadays, I'm actually leaning on to the bulky watches but of course, the "bulkiness" has its limits!  Though I'm not a petite person, my wrist and hands are almost the same as a petite person (okay, that's too much information) but you get the drift when it comes to me choosing my watches!

And let's not forget the fact that I'm born with a dad who loves watches dearly, I got his watch-loving genes so I am very particular in investing on watches that I like and making sure I can use them on various occasions!  

That's why when it comes to watches ranging Php15,000 above, I make sure I can wear them as often as I can and choosing an oversized watch may be cute but may not work for formal events!  

That's when TW Steel, the Big in Oversized Watches company says: "Why Not Both?"

I knew about TW Steel years ago when I visited their Podium Boutique.  I was searching for a nice, not so overly expensive watch as a gift for my brother.  As much as I would love to give him TW Steel, the slim line aren't available back then and my brother has small wrist as well and prefers slim watches!  

Finally, this Dutch Brand created a Slim Line range which comprised of 10 executions, available only in 45mm dimension with the choice of steel or A-grade PVD rose gold plated cases.  And of course, the beauty is not only on the exterior but TW Steel is a beauty inside as well!  All models utilize a Miyota 1S13 slim movement!  All models of the Slim Line Collection are embellished with sapphire crystals.

I was originally a watch girl before I turned into a clothes, shoes and bag girl!
Mr. AMW can attest to that as he's the major contributor to my watch collection!  Also my dear Brother AMW!  Awww, I'm really lucky to have such generous family!

And just because I don't blog much about watches doesn't mean I'm not in-the-know about them!  I recently heard and read about the new Italian-inspired Veloci watches from fellow bloggers and I can't help but salivate on some of my favorite pieces!  Hello paycheck..Goodbye paycheck!
