Christmas Gift Ideas for Colleagues

Every Christmas season, the company I work for would prepare for Exchange Gift and the fun starts even before the gift-exchanging itself! The fun starts at Creating your own screen name (from Local actors/actresses to cartoon names, etc...) to the whole guessing game of who picked who!

Now that I'm working from home, I'm missing all office gift-giving but that won't stop me from sharing my Christmas gift ideas!  And I'm picking products ranging from Php500.00-Php1,000.00.

For the Kikay Colleague
Ah, the easiest Exchange Gift Recipient in my dictionary!  It takes one to know one --- 'nuff said!  But if you're not Kikay or you're probably a guy who chanced upon this post, well, here are some gift ideas you  may give to your "Kikay" Colleague.

If you see her into eyeliner, purchase the limited edition K-Palette Rose Scented 1Day Tattoo Liner priced at Php795.00!  She'll love this!

If she is into lip products, you may go for ---

AMW Cooks: "Flat" Chicken Cordon Bleu (My Style)

A "flat" Chicken Cordon Bleu?  What's that?
Well, whenever you dine in a restaurant and order Chicken Cordon Bleu, you know it'll always be round when it comes out of the kitchen!  Because this is an "AMW Cooks" portion and sometimes, we just have to be practical, why don't we just make it flat?  I mean, there are days I have time to roll them but there are days...I just want to be quick because the Hubby will be home anytime soon!

And guess what?  FLAT...

or rolled....they both taste the same!  Both deliciously good according to my judge! :) The Chicken Cordon Bleu expert!  Yup, they don't look professional but they taste professional daw! :P

And why do I call this MY STYLE?  Well, most Chicken Cordon Bleu dish recipes use ham while I use my hubby's favorite --- Bacon!  And...instead of the usual white wine sauce, I opted for simple home-cooked gravy because that's just the way we like to pair our fried chicken, with gravy!

AMW Bulletin: Under Armour's Touchdown in Megamall!

If you are a long time AMW reader, you probably knew a lot of random facts about me - how I'm addicted to haircare products, how I used to be an English Professor in a University in China, etc...

As much as I thought I've shared EVERYTHING, well, there is one thing I haven't told anyone.  I used to be addicted to working out!  I mean it with the addiction!  I workout with my sister 5 times a week in a gym (that includes 2 hours muscle training and at least 1 hour of cardio workout - Pilates, Tae Bo, Yoga, whatever's available that day).  Then, on those 2 rest days?  Well, my sister and I would workout at home!  MTV The Grind, Tae Bo, Kung Fu Exercise, Jane Fonda, I have everything from VHS tape to VCDs!

Though I have kept it really low nowadays with my full time mommy duties plus all the extra jobs I'm doing, I knew at the back of my head that someday...someday..I will get back in shape!

Look at these photo inspirations from Under Armour.

And guess what?  To those who are into fitness/athletic brand, well Under Armour has already been making waves at Bonifacio High Street.  And this month, they have another branch opened at SM Megamall!

AMW Reviews: Pro Studio Beauty Pro Blend Sponge

Hi AMW friends!
Today, I will be sharing a review on my "egg-shaped" sponge which I got from Pro Studio Beauty.  I have this in my professional makeup kit for months and I only got to use this on my most recent gig on a male client!  You know how it is with male clients right?  Some may be used to having their makeup done while some aren't!  So pulling out a brush may scare the hell out of them so I've decided to whip out my airbrush machine, at the same time, do some spot concealing using the Pro Studio Beauty Pro Blend Sponge.

I owned a couple of Beauty Blenders so I can definitely compare this to the "original one".  Aside from that, I only have another called HD Makeup Blender and so far, you can read both reviews by clicking the "name" for link.

Lilac colored egg-shaped sponge called Pro Studio Beauty "Pro Blend Sponge".
You can go for other shades and I think they also offer the same shape as my HD Makeup Blender.

Glambox says ---
Use this Pro Blend Sponge to apply foundation to get the ultimate professional flawless finish!
Best used when damp. Hold the sponge under cool water and squeeze several times (to wet the sponge). After, give the sponge one more squeeze to remove excess water before using the sponge for makeup application. During application, gently pat and glide sponge on skin.

Available in various colors.

Good morning AMW Friends!
As you can see on my Instagram account, most of my makeup looks are clean and very simple.

The box is the same as their Moisturizing Lippie.
The product is housed in a regular lip gloss packaging with applicator.
