Benefit POREfessional Matte Rescue Review

It took me a bit of time to review The Benefit POREfessional Matte Rescue because everyone who reads my blog knew how much of a normal/dry skin I have!  So I had to really wait for the chance to apply this on clients, and myself!  As my T-zone does get oily especially with this crazy weather on random days!  After months of testing, I'm finally ready to review how effective or not-effective this product is.

The newest from POREfessional line, the Matte Rescue Super mattifying Gel.

Thankfully, this product is an "invisible-finish mattifying gel".  With this crazy weather, who needs to add anything on the face that gives color?  Not me!  There are days I just want to zoom out of the door without wearing any makeup at all!  Just to prevent any possibility of makeup meltdown!

Clinique Take The Day Off Micellar Cleansing Towelettes for Face And Eyes Review

So I reviewed the Clinique Take the Day Off Makeup Remover Year 2009!  Mind you, I still use it now!  I have a full-sized bottle tucked safely inside my professional kit.

Fast forward to several years later, Clinique finally made a jump and created Take The Day Off Micellar Cleansing Towelettes!  I am so excited for this because I use Cleansing Towelettes like Kyle uses his baby wipes!  I use them almost everyday to take off my makeup before washing my face!

So it was really easy for me to review this immediately, now that I'm almost halfway done!  I'm ready to share my thoughts on this!

Clinique Take The Day Off Micellear Cleansing Towelettes Says ---

AMW Wears Laneige Two Tone Lip Bar in Pink Step (No. 6)

You know what they say when you wear the right kind of pink lipstick?

Ahhh... you don't?
Hint..look at my photo..... still none? *sigh*

Okay, I look younger RIGHT?  (Please, say YES!) :P

Okay, that's WHAT THEY SAY!  And you know what?  Whether you agree or not, I do feel younger whenever I wear my 2nd Two Tone Lip Bar from Laneige!  The first one I own is on the dark purple side called Dolly Grape and I used it so many times I'm almost done with it!  (Yay for finished lipstick!)

So seriously, how do I like it?  I can't choose between Dolly Grape and Pink Step because both has their own characteristic!  If I wanted a more drastic gradient-looking lips, I'll go for Dolly Grape, on a super minimal makeup look, I'd go for Pink Step!  But what the heck?  I just pick whatever I feel like it!

Weekend Food Trip at: Leann's Teahouse, QC

Every weekend, we dine with my family!  And once I told Mr. AMW to help me look for a new restaurant we haven't tried!  Usually, we ended up dining at the "usual places" and that weekend, I wanted something unique, something new!  And of course, the restaurant has to have High Chair!  (seriously, no yaya when going out would understand that!)

The kind hubby went online and searched for best restaurants near my parents' place!  And he found Leann's Teahouse!  Gave the restaurant a call, booked for reservation + high chair...and the rest was tummy-filling history!  Love you Mr. AMW!

The name Leann's Teahouse sounded like a Chinese restaurant!  The waiter agreed!  hahaha But once you get in, you'll know its an authentic Korean Restaurant because I can literally smell yummy pork sizzling on grill and Kimchi!

Now what made us booked for this restaurant?  Eat-All-You-Can Korean BBQ Samgyeopsal (grilled pork belly) and Woosamgyeop (grilled beef belly).  But to those who aren't as carnivorous as I am, you can always go for a la carte meals!  They have so many choices to choose from!

Fried Mandu

Usual tasting dumplings but it's nice to order especially when you're hungry!

My Toddler Is Going To Preschool, and I'm Extremely Nervous!

When Kyle starts to walk, my friends and family were asking me if I'll enroll him to school.  It was always a "no" because it is our decision (as parents) to let him enjoy his time at home with the parents and learn basic knowledge and manners from us before we let him go!

He finally turned 3 last April and we told ourselves 3 is the perfect age for us to enroll him to Preschool.  It was our decision to take him to a preschool before he goes to big school because our family is really small!  We don't have kids AT ALL!  And most of the kids around our area are "home bodies" too so he doesn't get to play around with kids his age!

Now, if you ask me, I am at my most nervous stage right now since his first day of school is next week!  But of course, I can't let that nervousness and possible "separation anxiety" get the best of me! Mr. AMW and I have done preparations before THE BIG DAY!

I'll share you some tips that I'm currently doing and I would love to hear your ideas fellow mommies!

1. We send him to "play care" on weekends just for him to "feel" the environment of being in school.
Playcare at Little Archer SM MOA, written a very positive review about our experience here but unfortunately, we had to look for another "school" because it is too far from home!  I can't imagine the stress of driving him to and from school with traffic that could last an hour plus EACH way!  That would be super stressful for my son!

Now, if you don't have means to bring him to Play Schools, or if your schedule does not permit, you can take your toddler to kid-friendly areas like Kidzania, Kidnooza or random playground inside the malls!
