Weekend Food Trip at: Le Petit Souffle

I've dined at Le Petit Souffle Century City Mall branch a couple of times for an event!  The experience has always been fabulous so I was excited to be there at their newer branch SM Megamall when they launched their breakfast meals!

Before I jump into the new breakfast meals, let me share to you some appetizers I had with fellow bloggers.

Avon True Nutra Effects Line Keeps Beautiful Promises

Healthy and Beauty definitely goes hand in hand!  It was especially proven when I got sick 2 weeks ago!  My skin was extremely dry and flaking, pimples were showing up and the rest of my body is just dry and scaly.

That's when I realized, I need to write and share a blog post on how YOU (we) must take care not only the exterior of our body but also on the inside!  I understand the importance of drinking water, exercising as much as I can (sit ups and jumping jacks in between motherhood) and of course, eat healthily is the key to staying beautiful.

Avon, the big beauty giant company, presents the Avon True Nutra Effects.  This skincare line presents 2 lines that focus on both issues (thank you!) --- Mattifying and Hydra-Boost. 

The Mattifying Line (combination to oily skin) uses Active Seed Complex with Chia Seeds and Mineral Mattifying Powders to help balance the skin's oil production and hydration level.  

New The Base Zero From Kate

I have always loved Japanese base makeup.  I remembered investing highly on Paul & Joe makeup (which is a Japanese brand) way before I entered makeup school and has been using "Japanese branded base makeup" for Bridal clients because they give the most natural-looking, delicate coverage.

Since Paul & Joe is far gone locally, I have always been on a lookout for a good "base" and Kate Tokyo actually got into the list of my "to-go-to" base makeup choices when it comes to client #TrueStory  That's why when I got an invite to learn about their newest The Flawless Skin, Zero line --- a line that gives finish with no hint of heaviness.  I knew I had to be there even if I just got back from sickness.

When I got pregnant for Kyle, it was the pregnancy the whole family and friends has been waiting for!  So I've got bits and pieces of pregnancy advices, and one big piece of advice from my best friend (Thanks Hen!)  is to take a type of Omega-3 Fatty Acid --- DHA, which is a building block for the baby's brain and eye development.  And I took that supplement consistently for my full pregnancy.

And true enough, I can see the Benefits of taking DHA during pregnancy as my son was really advanced --- he knew his ABCs before he hits 2 years old, he can read and understand books at the age of 3 without much help needed from me.  His brain is so sharp he knows the street names in going to and from school.

A Concealer For the Dry Undereye Area

There are days when you wake up and look into the mirror and wished you have an "eraser" to erase all your skin troubles away?

I felt that the most for the past 2 weeks especially since I got really sick.  I've been taking medications and my skin is acting up.  Face literally peeling from dryness and as much as I hav my favorite concealers on-hand, some of them just enhance the dryness even more!

Good thing I remembered I own Benefit's Boi-ing Hydrating Concealer and I immediately used it for the full 2 weeks and it has been wonderful to me.
