Althea's New Skincare Line

Everybody who's into K-Beauty products probably heard or shopped at Althea at least once in their life!  I've shopped their so many times for items I can't find locally and I have unboxed my packages so many times a lot of you would think I'm sponsored (80% of the time, I'm not!  I pay for my own orders!)

I recently heard about the launch of their Petal Velvet Powder which was a mattifying, translucent powder that sets makeup and leaves behind a smooth, silky satin finish.  I gave it a skip because you know my skin type - I'm dry, I need moisture!  So it is okay for me to miss this out.

But, when I heard about the newest skincare line called Althea's Bare Essentials, I knew I had to dip my hands on them because this is said to be crafted products that gives the benefits of the infamous 10-step Korean Skincare Routine rolled into 3 quick and easy steps.

Now, who doesn't want that?  I know I can't do 10-steps, I just don't have the time (lucky you if you can, and may you please go ahead with that), as for me, I try to minimize my beauty regimen as much as possible because sleep is more important to me!

As expected, the 3 products Althea is mentioning talks about --- cleansing, toning and moisturizing.

The ORIGINAL Penguin Store

I have known about the brand Original Penguin for many years now!  I've first seen their store in Hong Kong and actually owned quite a few because I love how comfortable they feel and how they last no matter how many washes!

But these days, style has evolved, people are starting to wear more fashionable pieces (no matter how uncomfortable they are!)  I have gone through the same bandwagon and have worn several uncomfortable clothing just to feel how it is to be part of fashion!

Now where's the comfort in fashion you say?

I Shine Bright with PANDORA

PANDORA has been around for so many years but it took a while, for me to finally own my very precious piece of PANDORA jewelry (gifted by my hubby).  It's not because I don't like it, I want them, I liked them a lot!  It's just that, I lean on more to golds when it comes to accessories.  It just looks better on my skintone.

So when I learned that PANDORA takes a fresh new design direction with their first 18k gold-plated sterling silver collection, I knew I had to be there to take a sneak peek and see which one I would invest on for the year 2018.

When the collection was unveiled during the launch, I was a bit overwhelmed as it is a HUGE collection.  Now to keep us sane, there are actually 2 collections for PANDORA Spring 2018.

A Summer Must-Try!

When it comes to hair products, I am at this stage of my life where I don't get swayed off easily by advertisements!  I know particularly the needs of my hair and if a product is effective or not.  

One hair care brand that I really depend on even before I got into Blogging was Cream Silk.  Cream Silk is indeed (in my opinion) top on the list when we talk about conditioner!  

I know the brand has evolved into something better for the past years, I love how they customized each conditioner depending on hair issues.  Yes, our hair aren't all the same, we all have our different issues and I'm glad Cream Silk targeted it!

This March, Cream Silk unveiled another product perfect for summer!  The NEW Limited Edition Cream Silk Fresh Hydration!

Because this is limited edition, I have to share this post as soon as I can because I want you ALL to give it a try before it's too late!

I have to admit, I've used this only 3 times since I received this but I would like to share to you my thoughts ---

• Light Blue which I find super cute!  
• Smells really fresh, I can't pinpoint the exact scent but it smells like flowers on field!  
• Well, ALL Cream Silk conditioners make my hair easier to comb and tangle-free, but for this particular variant, what I noticed is that my hair look straighter?  I guess it's the extra moisture they added?
• I don't really have greasy scalp plus I never put conditioner on the scalp area so I can't comment if this will add grease to the hair!  
• I personally think as long as you use the right amount of conditioner, the product won't weight down your hair and won't make it feel greasy.
• Now upon usage, the product doesn't feel like any Cream Silk conditioners I've used in the past, the texture is almost like a "gel moisturizer" so I felt it wasn't doing anything.  You'll see the effect the next day.
• The next day, you'll immediately see the difference, hair is soft and light!

Unfortunately, this product is LIMITED Edition so this may be gone forever!  I wish Cream Silk would make this a yearly tradition, like bring it back every summer because I'm sure a lot would like this to happen!

Cleansing is the first step to healthier skin. This Happy Skin Beauty Hydrating Facial Wash gently but deeply cleans the pores without stripping the skin of moisture. It reveals fresh and clean skin while making it smooth and supple keeping it at a healthy pH level.

I personally enjoyed using this for the lightweight texture.  In one tiny pea-size squeeze, it lathers up pretty well and goes smoothly on skin!  It felt like a cream-gel and it smells really good!  It has a subtle scent that relaxes me as I massage my troubles (a.k.a. makeup away!)

This can actually help remove certain makeup but for waterproof makeup, you need a separate makeup remover for that!  I like how my skin does not feel tight after wash and hey, no allergic reactions!  #ThankYouLord
