In2It Triangular Eyebrow Liner Review

"Kilay Is Life" --- (Brows are life) and it's true!
Given that I wake up very early in the morning to iron my son's uniform, to prepare his things and to fix myself up, the latter is the least important of all so I always end up having barefaced look whenever I drive him to school.
BUT, one thing that I'm proud of is how I manage to fix my "kilay" even Kyle's teacher complimented how nice my brows are (I have to thank Benefit Brow Bar for keeping the shape intact!) and the rest is easy to manage with easy-to-use brow products.
Recent Brow Discovery --- In2It Triangular Eyebrow Liner (Php430.00)

IN2IT Liquid Matte Lipstick Review (Ravish)

Happy lip product Monday guys!  I'm always excited for Monday posts because it is the best time for me to share to you my new lip product find!

IN2IT is the brand that we forever knew about (especially for Beauty Bloggers like myself!)  The super well-known IN2IT product will always be their powder foundation and that would be a separate blog post about it because I was actually able to try one!  (Finally!)

For now, I am quite happy (and surprised) to know that the brand actually came up with their very own Liquid Matte Lipstick line!  Yes, the Liquid Matte lipstick craze is still here to stay!  The shade I got is 03 RAVISH.

How do you like it?

 IN2IT says ---

  • Shine like a gloss, covers like a lipstick.
  • Soft and Creamy
  • Long wearing, enriched with moisturizers, Vitamine E, Luffa Seed Oil, Sea Grass and Corn.
  • Smooth and easy to apply.
Now let's talk about the packaging, it's housed in a "normal" liquid lipstick packaging but I actually like the simple design!  It's straightforward (transparent tube) so you can immediately see the color right away!  The lip product details are printed on tube but wordings are extremely small I had to take a photo of it and ZOOM if I needed to check out ingredients, thankfully, the brand included Manufacturing and Expiration date at the bottom portion of this tube which I super appreciate --- THANK YOU!

The doe-foot applicator is actually pretty nice!  I think most makeup companies already nailed the applicator because it gets better as I go on testing new products!  The applicator has 2 flat sides (which I love) and it applies the product pretty smoothly.

What I Found at #SMWorldOfBeauty

I remembered preparing for my Engagement Day (which is almost like preparing for a Wedding day).  I've decided to cut down cost by doing my own makeup and with that in mind, I've decided to go to a Beauty Store to purchase my own set of makeup.  That was year 2007 (same year I started my Blog).
There wasn't much brand choices back then.

Fast forward to a decade, I am so happy how SM Beauty changed the way we beauty enthusiasts shop!  I can finally say, I have STOPPED online shopping for more than a year now because there are so many holy grail products I can literally see, touch and try at SM Beauty!

Do you like Asian makeup?
Brands like K-Palette, 4U2, Shiseido, Tony Moly, Etude House, Kate Tokyo, Holika Holika, Canmake Tokyo made its' way to our shores!  Here are just some of my picks.

Askmewhats Version: "April Fool's Day" Blues

Happy April Fools Day Everyone!

There isn't anything exciting about people fooling each other. So I won't do any of those! hahaha I have made a look though, it's April Fool's Day Blues.

I revisited my Laura Mercier quad and I can't believe I didn't touch it for awhile.

How did I achieve this look?

Step 1:

Before anything else, I applied CS Silk White Gel Liner on lid as base. Pat using my fingers.

Using a fluffy blending brush, apply Laura Mercier light blue color all over lid

Step 2:

With a flat shader brush, apply the darkest color from the LM Blue Sky Quad on the lid area, slowly blending outward.

Step 3:

Highlight the browbone and inner corner with any soft brush using my favorite Bourjois Beige Rose.

Step 4:

Line my eyes with CS True Black, wing it a bit, apply the lower lashline too

Curled my lashes and applied mascara

Here's the Look

April Fool's Blues! :)

And what's on the rest of my face?

For the face

MAC SF liquid NC30
mixed with CG TruBlend no.1

For the Cheeks

MAC Grand Duo Blush
in Light over Dark

Top a bit with P&J Face Color 08

For the Lips

Conceal the color of my lips
with ELF Tone Correcting concealer Light
Use In2It lipstick in Fresco

Enjoying the summer?

Happy April Fool's Day!
Don't let people fool you today! :)

Askmewhats Version: "Stila Marrakesh" Look

When I got the Stila Marrakesh Quad from Anne of Yummmiebitez, it turned out to be my favorite e/s I've been reaching out every morning for a nice office look!

I love it for it's simplicity and I love it's staying power and versatility. Here's one of the look I've created using this quad.

"Simplicity is beauty...Beauty IS Simplicity"

Here's a diagram on how I came up with the look

Step 1:

After applying MAC Soft Ochre paintpot all over lids, using my CS Pink Fluff e/s brush, apply using patting motion the pinkish color or use any shimmery pink color on the inner 3/4 of the eyes.

Step 2:

Using MAC 217 brush or any blending brush, use the darkest color from the quad and apply it over the crease area blending harsh lines.

Step 3:

Using a small blending brush, apply MAC Carbon on the outer-v for depth.

Step 4:

Using a big fluff brush from Coastal Scents, apply Paul & Joe Face color powder no. 043 on the browbone and inner corner of the eye for highlights. You can choose any e/s color closest to your skin tone.

Step 5:

Line the lashline using my newly purchased 4U2 GLITZ Liquid Liner in Brown. It's a very natural shimmery brown colored liquid liner. (I will review this product soon)

Step 6:

Using Coastal Scents Gel Liner in Truffle and a White Angled Liner brush, apply gently on the water line, top it with Urban Decay 24/7 glide-on eyeliner pencil in Bourbon.
Step 7:

Apply Urban Decay 24/7 glide-on eyeliner pencil in Yeyo near the tear duct for a bright-eyed look.

And here's the final result :D
(sorry no mascara used on this FOTD, LAZY! lol)

Other products used for the rest of the face

MAC Studio Fix Liquid Foundation in NC30 mixed with
The Face Shop's Flower Silky Foundation in NB21
applied all over face using MAC 187 brush
(I have to mix it as NC30 looks dark and yellowish on me!!! Wrong choice of color! My bad)

Using CHARM Angled Blush Brush,
apply Revlon in Blush on the cheek area

Highlight using EYEKO 5-in-1 e/s

In2it lipstick in Fresco

FOTD :D

This is how I usually go in the morning,
but instead of liquid foundation, I use Mineral Foundation :D

And that's how my new hair color looks like! :)
In case you're wondering! lol
Have a great weekend!!!
I will be announcing the Askmewhats 1 year anniversary contest winner tomorrow!
Goodluck!
Stay Happy!

Askmewhats Reviews: In2It Retractable Waterproof Eyeliner

Friends, countrymen, aliens :)
I have been talking about lining the eyes yesterday so I guess it is just the right timing to pull out the liner I've used! I think this is the best time to do a review on this product because I'm almost done with this and I'm ready to throw this out! (you can see in the photo below just how much product is left)

Introducing...

And here's the Vital Stats..

You twist the product and the eyeliner will come up
In this case, that's the only product LEFT lol

Let's check out the "butt"
*whistles*

A Sharpener!!!

In2It says ---

This retractable eyeliner combines the ease of an eye pencil with the long-wearing hold of a liquid liner. The ultra-soft textures draws a clean and precise line. It glides on smoothly & effortlessly for a precise & intense result. Without dragging the delicate skin around the eyes.

Askmewhats says ---

Pros
  • does glide easily
  • lasts whole day (but I don't have very oily lids)
  • free sharpener (which helps a lot)
  • packaging is nice, I would say it's not made of cheap retractable plastics
  • doesn't give out a raccoon eye look (you will know why when you read further below)

Cons
  • easy to finish up as the eyeliner is a bit short
  • the sharpener is great but hard to clean up because it's too small

Overall

I can't seem to find In2It's website, and I don't think they have any. To be honest, I am still unclear up to now on where In2It is originally from. (any help on this? Feel free to comment)

Anyways, back to the In2It eyeliner, for people who hates to sharpen their eyeliner pencil, this is going to be a good product for them as you ALWAYS have the sharpener together with the product. I find this easy to use and I would recommend this to a first time eyeliner user!

Tips
  • if you have super oily lids, you can always dust a loose powder gently on top of the eyeliner to prevent it from smudging
  • refer to my post on how to apply pencil liner here
Will I repurchase?

Yes

Where to purchase and how much?

All SM Department stores that has In2It booths, Landmark for Php375.00 (approx $8.00).
Available in black and brown.

And before I finish this review,
Let me show you a Smudge Test
Let's see how well it can handle the "Punisher!"

Here's In2It retractable waterproof eyeliner applied in think and thick lines

As you can see, you wouldn't smudge your eyes the way I did on my hand, so it did passed my test, instead of creating a messy and dirty look, it'll disappear.

I'd rather have a "disappearing" eyeliner rather than an eyeliner that creates an unwanted "smokey" look LOL

Anyways, I hope this review helps for most Asian countries who has In2It products selling in beauty stores. If you're using this too, let me know how you like it!

I will be off for a relaxing weekend spending time with my honey as it's our 1 yr Wedding Anniversary this coming October 27th! Time flies so fast!

Askmewhats Reviews: In2It ColourShine Lip Gloss

No color name COS06 is the product code
**Available at SM Malls, Crossing for Php229.75 (approx $5.00)

Hey everyone! It's weekend my side and I needed all the rest I can get! The week has been hectic, and thank goodness the typhoon didn't push through! Let me talk about a newly purchased gloss I made. By the way, eventhough my lips are full and I shouldn't be using a lot of lip glosses as it could magnify the "plump-ness" of my lips, I don't care! I love to use glosses as my lips are dry and I need all the glossiness and shine I can get! :D

I've stumbled upon a new lip gloss from In2It. I honestly tried to search for their website but I can't find any. I gave this a try as the brush looks just like Stila's Lip Glaze but the difference is, this one, you have to squeeze out the lip gloss!

I chose a shimmery pink toned color as I love pink lips! They have approximately total of 5-6 shades (sorry I didn't count). They have their shades ranging from peach, pinks, reds.

Here's how a new brush looks like

Press the tube and the gloss will come out

Apply it straight on your lips or on top of a lipstick

Askmewhats says ---

Pros
  • NON-STICKY (this is very important for me!)
  • affordable
  • high gloss and shine
  • doesn't have a strong smell (has a hint of strawberry)
  • handy, easy to bring along
  • the cap isn't the "click" type, you have to twist it til it closes, so won't get lost easily
Cons
  • it is difficult to control how much product would come out
  • I haven't tried the ever famous Stila Lipglaze so I can't seem to compare the staying power between the 2. But just like any other "not so expensive" gloss, it doesn't stay too long. Stays approximately 2 hours of continous talking and 1 sip on a cup!

Overall

This is an ok product. Color wise, definitely a lot of dupes out there. But what I really like about this gloss is the fact that it isn't too sticky at all! Done a kiss test to hubby and he said it passed his standard! LOL As he doesn't like the feeling of a sticky gloss when I kiss him *winks*

Will I repurchase?
I seldom repurchase lip glosses! I always tend to be unfaithful with lip gloss brands.

Before I go, I wanna ask,
"Can you handle sticky gloss?"
Me, I really can't! I hate the feeling!
I always ended up wiping my lips if it's too sticky!
