I seriously love both shades but for daily, I have always been a fan of Black Brown liners but in the past, Black Browns aren’t as nice as recent ones!  Brown seems to look washed out or too light especially for someone who really enjoy dark liners!  

Thankfully, the recent years shows better shade choices especially from Japanese Make Up Brands.  I lvoe how Black Brown liners look like black but in a more natural manner.  I can et away using just plain liquid liner witout much make up on without looking like I have very strong eye feature!

If you can’t imagine how both shades look like when applied, I will definitely give you a visual comparison and you can easily see why I am in love with both shades.

K-Palette Lasting Matte Liptints Review

When K-Palette released their Limited Edition Matte Lip Tints, I knew I have to try them out immediately as these were said to be Semi-matte, meaning, they won't be as drying as those I've been using for the past months or years!

They released 2 shades that are very wearable - Rose Pink and Mauve Red.  You can were them all over your lips like what I did on photo or create gradient lip effect by filling only the center of your lips and blend out with your fingertip.

BLK Soft Matte Mousse Hibiscus Review

Love at first swipe.
Is what I can say with BLK Cosmetics' Soft Matte Mousse in shade Hibiscus.

With a total of 4 shades launched as part of the K-Beauty Collection, I find myself picking Hibiscus during the launch and applied it on my lips immediately.  I wanted to try out other shades but if you ask me the best shade for most Filipinas?  This is the name to remember!

Why housed in a nail polish like bottle you say?  Funny how one AMW reader DM'd me and told me she nearly screamed when she watched me applied this on my lips as she originally thought it was a nail polish!  Well, Make Up For Ever is a professional makeup brand as well so talk to any PRO MUA, I'm sure they'll have AT LEAST 1 Make Up For Ever item in their kit.  And speaking from the professional point of view, this packaging is perfect to bring inside the kit as it is small, easy-to-store and is housed in a clear bottle so you can easily see the shade especially when you're in a hurry!

Colour Pop iluvsarahii Liquid Lipstick Review

I have tried Colour Pop Liquid Lipsticks in the past when liquid lipsticks were just coming through.  I remember wanting them so badly so I opt to order online.  Yes literally online from their US Website and had to wait for eons to try it.

Fast forward to a couple of brands both locally and internationally coming up with their own line of liquid lipsticks, I almost forgot about Colour Pop until I chanced upon an Instagram shop called Little Miss Shopper MNL.  This shop carries brands like Glossier, The Ordinary, Tarte, Aesop and so much more!  What I love about this shop is that they also ventured into personal shopping and offers that as part of their service - check them out on IG Stories - I am ooh-ing and aah-ing over their shopping finds!

Now back to my reunion with the brand Colour Pop, I finally tried their Ultra Satin Lip from their collaboration with iluvsarahii !

Pink Sugar does not need to prove me anything when it comes to their lip products.  I have been recommending their liquid lipsticks for so long!  

My favorite is their Sugar Tints, they are included in my top-3 liquid lipsticks to try if you have very dry lips!

L'Oreal Infallible Forbidden Kiss Is a Showstopper

So I got sick, well, semi-sick, then Kyle got sick so I didn't get the chance to be sick, then Kyle got well, I got sick again.  But I had to fight it as Kyle isn't completely well.

Confusing first paragraph and a whole lot or redundancy right?  Well that's how I feel about my sickness right now, a bit redundant, it just goes back and forth and I just wish for my body to be back to 100% same as my family!  

As you can see in my photo, I do look different, I look tired and sick so I've decided to power up on a bright lip color!  It does work focusing your eyes on my lips instead of the rest of my face..right?  I hope I'm right!

Flormar Silk Matte Lipstick in Undressed and Autumn Timber

I realized, I have 2 NEW Flormar Silk Matte Lipstick shades in my bag that I haven't used when I packed for a short staycation last week!  It was perfect timing so I decided to give them a roadtest!

My first from the brand is a very dark lip color called Hot Cocoa, most of you liked it, but Kyle doesn't!  He kept on asking "What happened to Mommy's lips?" whenever I wear it so I try to steer clear from dark shades whenever I'm with him.
