During the shoot, I've seen how effective these brushes are in helping our furry cats and dogs relax!  I've seen how a nervous cat was suddenly put to ease, how some dogs were looking sleepy after a couple of brush strokes!  I had to get one for my Charchar and Chinchin!

And I got one!  A mini version for smaller dogs and cats!  I have 2 Pomeranian dogs by the way!

The founder of Tangle Angel is actually Richard Ward, based from research, he is a celebrity and royalty hairdresser.  His Tangle Angel brushes were a hit on humans and these humans are using them on their beloved pets, that's when Pet Angel was born!

AMW Bulletin: New Products to Watch Out For!

Happy Saturday AMW friends!  It's a lovely weekend for me as I am definitely catching some zzz's after a full week of sleepless day and night!  Since my life circles around Baby Kyle (feeding him, playing with him, putting him to sleep, etc..) I'm glad to have something non-baby related stuff in front of me as a reminder to get back to my pre-pregnancy self!  I mean, as a mom, it is definitely easy to just settle down to a certain comfort level a.k.a. No makeup, no skincare, no dressing up!  :P  Come on, I'm sure a lot of you mommies out there can relate!

Recently, I've come to know more Splash Corporation skincare products!  The line is SkinWhite and I am out of date!  Like I said over my previous post, I've worked for several summers one of Spalsh Corporation's distributing company and the skincare product I know is Extraderm 1,2,3,4 and I swear to God those products work!  Everyone working in the company have beautifully fair, smooth skin!  So I definitely have high hopes on the SkinWhite Advanced line.

Happy Friday AMW Readers!  How was the week for you?  Mine was very very busy but it was a great week bonding with my brother (who arrived for a week's vacation) and catching up with my relatives from Canada!

AMW and Char Char as The Purple Groom's Brand Ambassadors

When The Purple Groom contacted me and Char Char to be one of their Brand Ambassadors, I did not hesitate one bit as I want to have good memories and photos with my furry friend Char Char.

Char Char's mom Lucky was a gift to me by my uncle, when Lucky gave birth to Pudding and Char Char, she underwent caesarian operation in which Lucky turned out not to recognize her puppies!  Because we don't want Char Char and Pudding to die out of hunger, my mom and I took turns feeding them every hour for the next 3 weeks.  It was a difficult task but I didn't mind at all as I love them dearly.

Fast forward to 7 years after, I'm glad to have this chance to share to the world how much I love dogs in general!

It was a lovely day at The Purple Groom, California Garden Branch.  The store is quite huge as compared to other pet grooming stores I have been to. 

I was told that The Purple Groom offers no-frills complete grooming package for our pets.  Groomers are certified licensed dog handlers who can make the grooming experience comfortable for our lovely friends!  And the cute mission?  "Is to make every pooch happy and clean".  Don't we owners love that?

Since it was a photoshoot with the owner, yours truly was also groom *ahem* made up!

Melai from The Face Shop, did my makeup using all The Face Shop products except for the Glambox Mink Lash that I brought and my Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Lovesick Passionnee in which she happily helped me applied.

Thank goodness Ed from Bench Fix Salon was there to help me style my hair!  I was in a rush that morning so my hair looks limp, straight and boring!

Of course, while I was made up, my dearest Char Char is also going through his own makeover!

Thanks to a fellow pet-lover photographer Benjie Tiongco from Benji Tiongco Photography for the patience and the directions!  He definitely knows how to take good angles not only on human but pets as well!

Something New: Value Meal Pet Food

(Note from author: It took some time for me to write this post as I lost one of my pet mentioned here.)

Back when I was living and working (alone) in China, my Dutch colleague asked me a huge favor, he is planning a month-long vacation with his long-time girlfriend in Netherlands and propose!  

WHO IN THE RIGHT MIND COULD SAY NO????

Of course, I said yes even though the first time I met "Di Di" (a Shih Tzu), he plan to reduce the number of my fingers from 10 to 9!  *laughs*

To keep the story short, I fell in love with "Di Di" and I had the best time of my life taking care of him!  We bonded like we were best friends and it was super difficult when the owners return and I had to give "Di Di" back! *sigh*

I gave my mom a long-distance call crying and she promised we'll adopt a dog once I get back.  And she kept her promise!  I got wonderful Pomeranians and have been a mom to them for years!  (Exactly 6 years) and I guess the pictures showed how gorgeous and healthy they are,

and because of that, I was send Vitality Value Meal Dog Food!

 

I was shocked when a 20kg of ValueMeal dog food was delivered straight to our home! 

My Pomeranian dogs are very picky when it comes to dog food!  We stick to 1 brand for the past years!  Both mom and I tried to change the brand but they always ended up getting diarrhea or not touch the food at all!  So honestly speaking, I was a bit wary in giving this brand a try!

I checked on the ingredients right away and read the product information ---

On a side note, my lovely female Pomeranian Pudding passed away a couple of weeks ago due to bad pregnancy (the baby didn't make it as well) so we are grieving for the lost family member!  Writing this post is a bit emotional for me as my mom told me how much Pudding loved this food and how quickly she finishes her share in a flash!

AMW Report: Char Char is a Super Hero!

My Pomeranian dogs are with my mom and dad because they give my parents the joy I used to give them when I was still staying at their place.  Well, I believe they are even better kids than us!  They never get home with a failing mark and are contented with a nice back rub and treats!  *laughs*

After a super bad incident that happened to our family almost 3 years ago regarding my mom's surgery, I am happy to announce that my mom has survived all the pain and nightmare and one major "key" to her recovery aside from having sons and daughters and a dear husband who support and loved her dearly, there were also our loyal Pomeranians (my siblings!  lol) who were there to give her a good laugh up until now!

So I call them our Super Heroes too!  

Only one male Pomeranian dog was used in this photo as he's the only MODEL out of the bunch!

I got the Spiderman, Batman and Superman dog costums at PetLovers Closet and they cost Php430.00 (approx $10.00)  each!  Not bad as these are well made and the details are super good!

They also comes in sizes so feel free to let them know or share to them the photo of your dogs and they'll tell you what size to get!

Aside from the cute costumes, the shop also sells Reflective Harness and Leash for only Php270.00 (approx $2.30) which works really well for night walks.

Another cool item is their Glowing Led Collar which costs Php390.00 (approx $9.00) and we enjoyed playing with the 3 lighting modes of the collar! (Permanent Light, Quick Blinking and Slow Blinking).

I actually like using this on top of the leash so my mom (with not so good eyes) can check that the least are still intact to the dogs when she walks them at night!

I am happy with the pricing and quality is really good! :)  I was told by my brother that my mom plays with the dog costumes once in a while and laughs her heart out!  That made me really happy!
