Weekend Dessert: Twelve Cupcakes

How do you enjoy your cupcakes?
Well me, it's a tiny bit different as compared to other food!  I make sure to stare at them for at least a good 5 minutes before I start devouring them!  Why?  Well, desserts are meant to make you feel happy!  I don't do dessert on EVERY meal so when I have the luxury of having one, I make sure to make it worthwhile!

Just by looking at Twelve Cupcakes, it is definitely worth the second and third stare (not glance!) :P

I've heard about Twelve Cupcakes from my friend Emily, she raved about these cupcakes so much she got me intrigued!  My sister-in-law also raved about their Red Velvet cupcakes which turned out to be their bestseller!

I recently got back from a dentist appointment and I almost didn't hear the end of it!  For the first time after many years, I was scolded!  For not taking care of my teeth by going to the dentist to have my teeth cleaned at least once every 3-6 months.  I deserve all the things she told me as it has been more than a year (okay, almost 2 years) that I didn't visit her!  I have so many excuse like I was busy breastfeeding, taking care of my baby, etc...

But one thing she said that hit me and I think deserves a blog post!  She said I MAY have Bad Breathe if I continue to ignore my teeth!  I tried to give an excuse by telling her I brush my teeth after EVERY meal, I use mouthwash and floss!  She said it's NOT enough!  And I got to read this article! *laughs*

New Sunblock Brand: Ocean Potion

I came from the generation of Coppertone as the ONLY sunblock brand (say ME TOO in comment box if you agree para di naman ako nag-iisa! lol) The highest SPF would be 25 and I feel like it was the best protection out in the market back then!

Global warming wasn't as bad then...now I feel like a dinosaur!

AMW Reports: Philips Haircare Glam Night Event

Year 2008, I bought my first "big" blowdryer and I took my time researching for a trusted brand.  I went for Philips JetSet Control ION HP4883 (click link for my past review) and I made the right decision because it is still good as new at the moment and mind you, I use this dryer almost everyday!  I even tag this blowdryer with me when I do hair for my clients.  

I'm not really sure if this specific model is still available (I bet not!) but when I was invited to Philips Glam Night at BlowBar Serendra.  No matter how busy my schedule was, I had to squeeze them in as I love Philips Hair care products and I vouch they really last (as long as you take care of them!)

And I have a new crush because it came with a lovely pearly white color!

AMW Reviews: Flawless Face and Body Clinic

Good day everyone! 

Are you surprised to see a "facial" review on my blog today?  Well, I'm surprised myself!  I've been very vocal in telling everyone how I try to veer away from trying out facials as I have not-so-good experiences in the past (pre-Blogging days).  I may be a loyal facial customer during my work days in China but things have changed when I returned back to the Philippines.

I have been offered free facials, body services here and there for the past 5 years, but you can only count the times I actually tried them!  I'm a sissy when it comes to my skin!  I am so afraid of skin breakouts or irritations I often say "NO" right away.

But what made me say YES to a Flawless service?  Not because it was offered to me for free but because I was starting to see breakouts here and there for the past few weeks!  After I stopped breastfeeding, I'm probably just waiting for my "monthly period" to happen after 2 years!  Pimples were sprouting here and there and after trying to "wait" for them to disappear (which didn't happen overtime), I've decided to give Flawless facial a try!
