How To: Give Yourself a Subtle Makeover!

You know how it is when you do your makeup on a daily basis and you wished you will look at least a bit different on special days?

Well, you can!  And that doesn't entail you to pile on MORE makeup, instead, try to be adventurous and do something different, change a bit of your "usual" makeup routine.

Okay...let me think...I usually like to wear bright lipstick sans eye makeup!  So, if I plan to go on a special event or I need to have my photo taken and I wanted to look nice....this is my game plan to change the way I look..in a very subtle manner.

  1.  I normally wear concealer then set with powder.  For a change, I'll go for full yet still a natural-looking coverage.
  2. Instead of the usual thick brows, I'll leave my brows looking natural and soft.  No harsh lines there!
  3. I will wear a bit more eye makeup.
  4. Instead of the usual dark lips, I'll go for very light colored lipstick!
  5. I tend to shy away frome xtremely pink colored blush, so I'll use it this time!
But please..don't ask me to remove the highlighting part..it is my favorite! Just give it to me okay? :P

Lipsticks For The Day: Mary Kay True Dimension Sheer Lipsticks in Subtly You and Magenta Chill

Good day everyone!  So today, you will finally see my forehead!  *laughs*  Seriously, I haven't been comfortable showing my forehead because they are quite "huge"!  (That explains why I'm brainy!  *winks*)  From nursery to college or even when I was working, I seldom pulled my bangs back like the photo below so think of this post as a "treat" for you my dear readers! :P  You guys are special!

On a serious note, I think I am of age wherein I openly accept my flaws!  I guess, I am super comfortable in my own skin now because I'm married!  #harharhar  Okay, I'm joking again, but I guess confidence comes not only of age but confidence comes when you start to love and accept yourself!  I accepted the idea that I'm no "artista" and won't ever be a "model material" but I accepted the fact that God gave me all "functional" body parts and I am very happy and grateful for that!

Yeah, it's obviously a CHOOSE-Day and I'm making this choice to be all positive!

Back to my Lipsticks!  (Whew!)  That was a long intro huh?

Do you still remember my first Mary Kay True Dimension Lipsticks review I did last year?  Feel free to click link if you forgot about it!  As for me, how can I forget such nicely packaged lipstick that took me a minute to open the cap?  It was so unique even Mr. AMW can't forget this particular line of lippie!  Yeah, took him minutes too!  I don't know why he didn't ask for help ... tsk tsk tsk..MEN!

A Million Pesos For Kyle Nash? Here's How I Would Spend It...

A lot of parents would say, put it on savings for his education!  I originally thought about that too!  Because I understand how important it is to save at an early age!  I started out quite late so I know how it is not to have money!  #hahaha

With Kyle, he has his own bank account in less than a year old!  These are from the "red envelopes" he got from his family and godparents during his birthday and baptism.

This post was inspired by fellow Blogger Mommy Frances, as I was putting Kyle to sleep and read how she would spend her first Million for Baby Piero, I suddenly had all these ideas in mind as I was putting Kyle to sleep!

AMW Reviews: Tony Moly 7 Days Tattoo Eyebrows

Happy Monday AMW Friends!  I am so excited to share another "brow product" discovery!
Tony Moly 7 Day Tatoo Eyebrow!  As much as I would like to continue typing Tatoo (with a single "t") it will be the last as I will type it with the correct spelling starting now!
So the TonyMoly 7 Days Tattoo Eyebrow pen I would say is like the K-Palette one or if you are an international reader, this must be a cheaper alternative of the much coveted Suqqu Liquid Eyebrow Pen!  (Lisa Eldridge use this a lot and other YouTubers!)

I haven't tried or doesn't even know how I can own a Suqqu Pen unless I visit Japan again (ahem! Calling Mr. AMW!)  but for now, I'll review this product without much comparison!  I won't even try to compare this to the K-Palette one because, well, they aren't the same in terms of the shades I own!  The K-Palette one I own is really light while this one I have from Tony Moly is a tad bit darker!  Let's say more of a medium brown shade.

I have full brows by the way so Eyebrow pens aren't my thing, I'm more of a brow powder, brow gel or pencil type of gal but for the sake of review and because I was really intrigued on how "pigmented" yet inexpensive this product is, I gave it a go!

AMW Cooks: Egg Wrapped Minced Pork with Potatoes

Happy Sunday AMW Friends!  If you follow me on Instagram, you'll know that I'm having a grand time with AMW family having our first Staycation at Discovery Suites Ortigas!  I've been wanting to do this for so long but I've always been tied up on weekends!  Almost EVERY weekend!  So yes, I'm taking advantage for this first FREE weekend after months!  So I'm definitely NOT bringing my laptop because I want to enjoy the moment with Mr. AMW and Kyle Nash!

Not bringing laptop means, I will be typing this post early!  Am I good or am I good? :D  If you know I'm on Staycation, you've probably seen one of my many #AMWCooks posts, 160+ to be exact I am quite amazed!  I've received emails from fellow mommies requesting for this particular recipe I've posted 6 weeks ago!

It looks blah, but it tastes really good and can make any leftover dishes look appealing!  But it wasn't a leftover dish though but just for future reference!  You and I are allowed to do so!

Ingredients:
  • Eggs
  • Mayonnaise
  • Ground Pork
  • Potatoes sliced in tiny cubes
  • Onion and garlic
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Soy Sauce
  • Oyster Sauce
