BLK Cosmetics Launch + AMW Wears BLK Long-Lasting Liquid Matte Lipsticks

Everyone living in the Philippines knows Anne Curtis, and this photo taken at the BLK Cosmetics launch is "Ode to Anne Curtis' Red Lips".  She's known to be TOP Actress that can do a TV Show without wearing much makeup.  There were days I can see her bare skin and just wear a bright lipstick!  How many top actresses/performers can do that?  

Only Anne Curtis!

No wonder the makeup line she helped create BLK Cosmetics --- together with Jacqe Yuengtian Gutierrez is all about uncomplicated beauty.

It simply stands for the color black, something timeless, elegant and uncomplicated, which is what Anne and Jacqe wanted their brand to be.  BLK aims to stand out by going back to basics.  Their goal is to keep things simple, plus, it has an official cruelty-free certification from PETA.

Over the weekend, I was able to try 1 out of the 5 types of makeup they launched.  The BLK Cosmetics Long-Lasting Liquid Matte Lipsticks.

You must check out La Spezia located at Tomas Morato Quezon City.  If you are craving for coffee though, expect that you need to transfer to a nearby coffee shop because that's the only thing that I hoped they offer but I was told the owners have decided to forego this thought because they have bar menu and there are indeed so many nearby coffee shops.

Good friend and "boss"Janina of Girlstuff and I love food so we've decided to go to this quiet place on a weekend for quick catch up and meeting as well!

If I may have to add, the restaurant is aesthetically perfect for that quiet time with family, loved ones and friends.

That's my happy pill that pushes me to be the cheerful person that I am!  That said, I want to thank the real heroes behind my "persona".

Last Christmas, my parents-in-law gifted me a bangle for Christmas and I remembered not saying much (that's a huge deal because I am NEVER silent!).  I was touched to the core!  It wasn't the bracelet that made me speechless, it was the gesture of being gifted with something so precious that shoots me to the moon and back.

When I got my Nomination Italy Composable bracelet a couple of months ago for Mother's Day  (and even got a second one because Rose Gold was calling my name), I realized how much I wear then on a daily basis and how happy I am seeing my "personal composition" on my write on my notebook, write for my Blog and cook for the family.

Without any special occasion, I've decided to thank one of my superwoman --- Mommy Jeane.

Side Note: I know how other moms have issues with their in-laws, I am so lucky I've got the best in-laws in the world!  --- she doesn't read my Blog, so this is not sipsip guys!  #lol

Still on high from my Bella La Vita rose gold composable piece, I picked that same chain and went from there.  Without much idea in mind on what to compose, I just opted for something classy, beautiful and heart-warming --- because those are the adjectives I would use for my mommy.

And I was able to compose this! 

Front part, 2 golden hearts (because she's got heart of gold).  I added 3 stones in purple (2 oval shaped and one circular).



Since I have 2 butterflies on my own piece, I enjoyed seeing it move whenever I move my arm, so I've decided to add one at the back part of the bracelet.

Make Up For Ever Artist Face Color Launch

As a make up artist, you would think that I enjoy piling on makeup on my own face..well, you're wrong!  If you are a good friend of mine, a family member or just a long-time AMW reader, you would know that my default makeup look would be....

Full brows, lined eyes, colored yet highlighted cheeks and glossy gradient lips!

I'm definitely not getting any younger so the phrase "Less Is More" really applies to me!

All possible with the newest range called Artist Face Color --- brace yourself, 34 shades of blush, highlighter and sculpting powder right in front of me!  I was in shocked and literally brain was in face color heaven!
