I Wonder: Do You Ever Sleep with Your Make Up On?

I am PROUD to say...NEVER!
You?  *aminin*!
Well, don't worry, I'm not going to say I'm a little perfect Blogger who consistently care for my skin.  I have a dirty little secret too you know!

#NOMAKEUP

Since becoming a mom, yes, I never sleep with makeup on but you know what?  Recently, I'm always in a hurry in removing my makeup.  Imagine this scenario, I came home late, I missed my son so much and he obviously missed me so much as well, I ran straight to my room, change into comfortable clothes, wash my face quickly with water...yes, you read that right, just water because I'm in a hurry to spend quality time with my little one before he dozes off on me!

My husband would say: "May eyeliner ka pa, andun pa lipstick mo!"  And I just shrug him off!  And when the little angel is finally asleep, I am too tired to really think about myself and I doze off with him....story of my "Beauty addict life turned momma!"

On nights I really felt tired, on nights I really just want a good night sleep...I reach on my favorite wipes (I've been vocal about this favorite wipes on my previous post HERE)

You know what it's my favorite?  Seldom can I find wipes that works for my combination (Dry/Normal) and sensitive skin!  Then recently, I got a care package from our friends from Nivea to try their wipes!  I have read positive reviews on these wipes so I am very excited to try these!

Burt's Bees "Bee Merry" Gift Ideas

Last year, I spent most of my "Christmas budget" on Burt's Bees "Bee Merry" sets #TrueStory
Why?  Because they are packaged in a way that I don't have to worry about wrapping them (I am seriously too busy with an active toddler to have time to wrap gifts!), plus the fact that they are in "sets", you don't have to think hard if the receiver will like your gift or not because who does not like Gift Sets?

When I got the chance to meet Burt's Bees Brand Manager, who is also a good friend of mine, for a cup of coffee and some catching up, she excitedly shared to me about this year's Bee Merry sets and I got the Heart-Thumping moment when I took a peek at what's in store for us here in the Philippines.

And guess what, this is not even everything that they offer!

I immediately went: "I've been longing to own the tin can box as lunch box for the longest time!"  --- and yes, wishes do come true, even if it's over 2 decades!  *lol*

Then my next question goes: "What's the price points?"  You have to admit, they look expensive, if not, crazy overpriced!  But, that's the best part of this blog post, it is my happiness to share that the price points of these Bee Merry Gift sets are extremely affordable!  (Consider the quality of the products!)  You don't believe me?

AMW Reports: Lush Fresh Handmade Cosmetics Christmas 2014 Gift Guide

You know Christmas season is near when you see snowman! And you know the season's going to be unique when you're holding a "Gold Snowman!"

Rewind to the gold snowman making day, I got an invite to have a look at Lush Christmas 2014 Gift Ideas.

Prior to the event, I received a Lush gift several months ago and my heart literally fluttered like the butterfly.

It broke my heart to use these cuties but I shared these with my nephew who enjoyed this so much I knew Lush has to be part of my Christmas gift-giving list for the year 2014.

When you enter a Lush store, you'll know that Lush has a whole selection of festive gifts for different personalities that matters to you.

During the event, we were all asked if we want to build a Snowman.  Of course I said yes!

AMW Reviews: The Body Shop Smoky 2 in 1 Gel Liner (Eyes and Brows)

When I heard The Body Shop came up with a Gel Liner, I exclaimed: "FINALLY!"
I mean seriously, don't you agree with me when I say almost ALL makeup brands came up with their version of gel liners?  I mean way back before K-Palette 24H Real Lasting Eyeliner and Benefit They're Real Push-Up Liner, I am a gel-liner addict and you can freely search "gel liners" on my search box and you'll see the brands I used and reviewed.

Just when I thought I'll go silent about gel liners, thanks to The Body Shop for reviving my gel-liner love!  When I got the 2-in-1 Smoky Gel Liner Eyes and Brows...I immediately exclaimed, I won't be using this for the brows for sure!  So bear with me as I will be reviewing this as eyeliner.  As I use this gel liner solely for eye-lining purpose.

The Gel Liner packaging may be unique and eye-catching several years ago but since Revlon came out with a similarly-packaged gel liners 2 years ago (and I believe some Korean brand as well?)  , the unique packaging isn't as unique anymore.

If this is the first time for you to encounter this packaging, well, feel free to be impressed!  This is a handy gel pot with a brush neatly tucked on lid.

And as usual, feel free to read more for my in depth review!

The Body Shop says ---
An innovative formula created to draw the perfect eye line or intensify the brows. Available in two shades: black and brown.
  • 2 in 1 formula
  • Smart Packaging - brush integrated in packaging
  • Long lasting effect up to 12 hours
  • Can be used to create a variety of different looks
  • Enriched with Community Fair Trade Marula Oil

How to Be Happy and Contented

Okay, this post is totally different from my usual posts and I'm actually typing this as I dry my hair!  *laughs*  I had a big fan right in front of my face and suddenly, I had this trail of wonderful thoughts....on sharing my how-tos!  I've had a couple of how-tos post and those are all skincare/makeup related.  Today, it's none of those!  I'm speaking about the emotional happiness.  The physical side?  Too easy, there are so many products and methods to make you pretty!

Okay, not saying I'm pretty here but I did use makeup to help me look at least "decent" to leave the house.

Long-time AMW reader would know why I started this blog and why this blog is called AskMeWhats.

...... do you know ba? (still waiting)
