Colgate Promo Winner

I usually like to post about contests on my blog that I think is super worth to join.  Just like the most recent Colgate Win a Scholarship worth Php100,000 promo.  What's even more exciting is when I get updates on the winners and I recently saw a video of Christelle Magpayo, the Php100,000 Colgate Scholarship Promo Winner from Pasig City.

The contest is REAL and it's even more real when you get to see the winners and heartheir stories!  The story of Christelle touched my heartbecause her desire to graduate is not centered on herself but on a loved one. She wants to become a Chemist when she graduates so she can hopefully create a medicine to cure diabetes so she can help her grandmother who is suffering from the illness.

I believe that it is very important that every dream should have a strong educational foundation. As a mom, I feel strongly on exposing my son to appreciate learning at a young age.  I am lucky I have work and have means to help my son achieve his dream by starting him as early as today!

Going Wild This Christmas with The Body Shop

Every year, I look forward to The Body Shop Christmas Offerings because of so many reasons!  One of them is...

The packaging are visually enticing, (1) I don't need to worry about wrapping them again because I can literally purchase them in store and give it to the recipient by just writing a personal message/note. (2)  All The Body Shop items you purchase are forever against animal testing, so animal lovers like YOU and ME can breathe a sigh of relief because our cute cuddly animals are safe!



(3) In EVERY The Body Shop event, I learn to love the brand more and more.  Why?  Because they help give up to mother nature with your purchase of "kikayness".

And just when you thought there's no more exciting news as I listed above...well, The Body Shop this year cooks up something even more exciting!  So exciting my Facebook friends are messaging me asking me for more details!  Guys, this is it....

Brown Hair, Brown Lips!

 I've finally shifted to a more mature role... *laughs*

I always associate brown with the 90's, and 90's would mean...Melrose Place, Beverly Hills 90210 (Jenny Garth, Shannon Doherty days ha) *laughs*  Now my age is too obvious.

But I remembered watching these girls wanting their makeup but I can't wear makeup back then!  I grew up in a conservative Chinese Family so I had to wait for years after to finally take the plunge on browns...not today but it was only when I started Blogging.

Today, I'm going back to my roots.... well, literal na roots because I had my hair colored too!

These shades are inspired by the yummy chocolates and I appreciate how they are in various tones of pinkish browns, red browns and orange browns!

These are matte lipsticks that aren't drying and definitely wearable for both day and night!  All the shades featured here have their own "specialty" and I believe no matter what complexion you have, you can definitely pick at least one shade that would work for you!

Paradise Dynasty Restaurant Review

Doesn't this food spread reminds you so much of a certain Dynasty in China?
I honestly thought this spread would look like the exact spread an Emperor would face every meal time!  That just proved how much of an authentic Chinese dishes Paradise Dynasty serves.

Paradise Dynasty first opened in Singapore, present in other neighboring countries like Malaysia, Indonesia, Japan, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, and today...the Philippines.

Thankfully, the restaurant was inspired by the array of food in the different provinces across China.  So for someone with quite an "impressive palette" when it comes to Chinese dishes, I am quite amazed how I tasted Northern, Southern, Western and Eastern China cuisine in just ONE sitting.

Of course, I have to start with what Paradise Dynasty is known for, their EIGHT First-Of-Its-Kind types of Xiao Long Bao.
