These are a Few of My Favorite...

People -- my brother is back for a vacation!  All 4 of us (brothers and sisters) are close and I would say, I don't play favorites, but since I don't get to spend much time with him as he works abroad, I like to bond with him as much as I can (amidst very busy shedule).  Since I was off to Ortigas for a short meeting, I've decided to take him to one of my favorite restaurant inside Shangri-la Mall --- Spatzle Euro Market Cafe. (Favorite that's why I was there twice this month now!)

This year, I probably dined in this restaurant the most if we talk about restaurants inside the said mall.  We even had our event here during the Cathy Doll Philippines Nude Me Launch!

So back to Spatzle, my brother loves anything Carbonara so I've decided to go for..

How to Feel Fresher Than Ever? New Closeup Fresh Attraction

You all know that I am into taking care of my teeth especially since I post a lot of my photos online for product reviews and swatches.

Aside from going to teeth whitening salons, I tend to get cautious in picking my toothpaste now, I always aim for "whitening" to maintain the whiteness of my teeth.

It was perfect timing when Closeup launched their Fresh Attraction line.

Both are powered with a rush of shocking menthol (my favorite flavor in toothpaste), the NEW Closeup Fresh Attraction toothpaste is said to help boost my confidence with a NEW freshness experience like never before.

The event was hosted by Closeup Fresh Attraction girl Sarah Lahbati, who came up looking fabulous as ever! (And she's pregnant!)

And to further explain how the Closeup Fresh Attraction can bring anyone closer than ever, real-life couple Kryz Uy and Slater Young were also there to host the event.  They look so cute together.

AskMeMom: Tips on How I Encourage Kyle's Creativity to Develop Intellectual Skills

I am telling you right now that I'm not a perfect mom and I will not strive to be one.  One thing for sure, I am a type of mom who knows her kid like a back of her hand even if I have multiple jobs.  Yes, getting to know your kids doesn't need 24 hours to happen, you only need to spend time (not just time, but QUALITY time), get to know them well on what tickles them, what makes them sad or happy!

Whenever I post on IG stories activities I do with my son Kyle Nash, a lot of the followers would comment on how lucky I am that Kyle is smart and creative.  One thing that I want to clarify is that, creativity is not inborn.  As much as there are "inborn talents", creativity can be nurtured and it is actually a skill that we can help our child develop - that's according to a child therapist.

I for one, is not an intelligent person, but because my mom gave me all the chances to be creative during my younger years (blackboard, chalk and loads of paper!), I can say I'm more of a flexible person who can deal with challenges on various situations and I actually use how my mom raises us to be a "Peg" on what type of mom I will be.

With our fast-paced life with the help of technology, how do I encourage Kyle to be creative in his own way?  Here are just FEW of the things I do that seem to work!

My Thoughts On IMAGIC PROfessional Contour Cream KIT

There are so many makeup tricks I learned in Make Up School years ago, but one learning that I will never forget is how to contour and highlight the face using cream-based product(s).  Just the mere fact of applying additional "cream" product in a humid weather is quite scary, and let's not forget most Filipinas have oily/combination skin.

But what's the advantage of using cream based contour product?

Well, aside from longevity, when applied properly, the effect is more natural (because non-powdery) at the same time, it is easier to create a natural-looking transition of your contour and highlight product.

That's why as difficult it may sound to use such product, I do use cream type contour and highlight on clients and myself (especially if I am hosting or attending an important event).

Whew, such long introduction, but basically, I got the IMAGIC Contour Cream KIT months back and I'm finally ready to share my thoughts on this after testing this out on both myself and clients.

The Palette I got is Light which I think is perfect for my complexion.  It comes with 6 shades and I like the variation of shades that would match for both cool and warm undertone.

RIOT Polyblender Sponge Review

So many "Beauty Blender-like" sponges in the market.  How to know which ones are good?
Well, you can't tell unless you touch them, use them and just try them.

Thankfully, I own the original Beauty Blender sponge(s) so I always have a basis when I do my reviews.  Though I could be a late with the "blending sponge" testing game, I always welcome new brands to try!  One of the recent ones I've tried is from RIOT (the same makers as Riot Brushes)

The RIOT Polyblender Latex-Free Ultra HD Sponge

As oppose to the regular Beauty Blender sponges you see, these has a flat edge (quite big!) and a sharp tip.

The flat corner is technically the portion you will use to apply on bigger surface like your cheeks, forehead and neck.
