Shiseido VisionAiry Gel Lipstick (Php1,728.00) is the newest lipstick line from the Japanese brand Shiseido.  This was packed in a foil packaging so you get the freshest product straight from factory to your on home!

Once You Pop, You have to Wear It!

Once I popped my newest Pop Beauty Matte Velvet Lipstick in Pink Porcelain, I thought I'll leave it or give it away because it was too "cool-toned" pink and you know how it looks on a fair-skinned girl with warm undertone ---> SICK!

Thankfully, I was able to pull off such color because my hair looks darker than before, I find it that having light ash brown hair makes it difficult for me to pull off cool toned lip colors, do you feel the same?

Party in Ibiza - A Shade You May Want to Choose for Valentine's Day!

It's literally a day before Heart's Day!  For me, Valentine's Day should be EVERYDAY because that's how we should always feel - To Love and Be Loved!  But if you are the type of girl who wants to get extra romantic or you want to celebrate the said season!  Why not wear something bright and bolder instead?  ---- talking about Lip product okay? #hahaha

So I had this BYS Lip Tar in shade Party in Ibiza for the longest time!  I find this shade to be a type of shade that you need to mix with a lighter color to tone down the brightness.  I can never walk around with almost neon lips!  But for the sake of Valentine's Day, and for those who are into bright-colored lip color...why not?

Tony Moly LipTone Get It Tint in Oh My Rose - A Reddish Orange Lip Color I Can Actually Wear!

I have told this too many times on my workshops, how much of an "orange lipstick-phobic" I am!  Truthfully, I may look okay for others when I wear orange lippies but I don't feel comfortable at all!  It must be my warm undertone and sallow skin that made me feel like I'm too "rusty" whenever I wear such shade.

During my last Tony Moly store visit, I was advised by the SA the top-selling shade of their newest Tony Moly Liptone Get It Tint is called Oh My Rose.  Without questions asked, without even trying out the tester, I picked it up and went straight to the cashier.

Once I got home, I went....OMG...this Oh My Rose shade doesn't look like a "rose" shade to me!  Seems like this is going to be one Reddish Orange Lip Color that I would stay away from for the rest of my life.

AMW Wears Shiseido Maquillage Dual Color Rouge in Cherry Pink (21)

Latter part of 2015, Shiseido Japan released their 10th Anniversary Collection.  I know this because I do my research on make up collections of brands I love from time to time.

Imagine the happiness when I received my very own Shiseido Maquillage Dual Color Rouge 10th Anniversary Lipstick as my birthday gift from Shiseido PH team! (Thanks guys!)  Because of that, I hail this my "2016 Birthday Lipstick"!  

It is not your usual lipstick because it comes with 2 shades, well, 3 to be exact as you get to mix both shades together and get a different color (my favorite!)

I call this an "Instant Fresh Face Lipstick"!  Do you want to check it out how it looks on me?  Read on please!

AMW Wears: Maybelline Rosy Matte by ColorSensational

So NUDES are really in huh?  And I'm talking about Lipsticks! 

Maybelline's powerful lip franchise Color Sensational went crazy over colors early this year!  You don't believe me?  Take a look at my lip swatches on the previous Velvet Matte by ColorSensational line.

As much as I'm very much impressed with bold lip statement, the high pigmentation, creamy matte formulation that glides on lips like a  dream, there are days I just want the "girl-next-door" look.  Thankfully, Maybelline came up with their Rosy Matte by Color Sensational and by far, my favorite line of all!

Out of the 5, I immediately got drawn to shade number 3, 4 and 5 (from left).  But a decision cannot be made without wearing them!  And I'll tell you if I made the right choices!

AMW Wears Laneige Two Tone Lip Bar in Pink Step (No. 6)

You know what they say when you wear the right kind of pink lipstick?  

Ahhh... you don't?

Okay, I look younger RIGHT?  (Please, say YES!) :P

Okay, that's WHAT THEY SAY!  And you know what?  Whether you agree or not, I do feel younger whenever I wear my 2nd Two Tone Lip Bar from Laneige!  The first one I own is on the dark purple side called Dolly Grape and I used it so many times I'm almost done with it!  (Yay for finished lipstick!) 

So seriously, how do I like it?  I can't choose between Dolly Grape and Pink Step because both has their own characteristic!  If I wanted a more drastic gradient-looking lips, I'll go for Dolly Grape, on a super minimal makeup look, I'd go for Pink Step!  But what the heck?  I just pick whatever I feel like it!

Daytime Purple Lips!

From Max FactorX Lipfinity Long Lasting Lipstick in shade Eternally Luscious.

So how difficult it is to wear purple lipsticks during office hours without having your colleagues giving you that: "Are you going to skip work and party later look?"

I have a good number of purple lipsticks now but most of them are gearing towards nighttime look.  Thankfully, I found a nice color that would work on both day and night!  The shade Eternally Luscious may "sound" a bit too party-ish but the outcome is more of a medium lilac pink shade that works for most skin tones!

If you own MAC Heroine lipstick, the shade is almost similar but 2-3 shades lighter!  The Max Factor version is not too matte, I would say, this lipcolor falls into the demi-matte category giving added moisture and sheen on lips upon application.

 The packaging is very simple!  It comes with a gold packaging that says: "I'm so chic and you love it!"  The only concern I have with regards to the packaging is that the lipstick does not twist all the way down.  If your lipstick is still new, you may end up accidentally touching the lipstick on to the cap, which is a huge no-no if you are an OC gal like me!  It won't be an issue if you used up a quarter of your lipstick!

L.A. Colors Chunky Lip Pencil Review

The first time I saw these L.A. Colors Chunky Lip Pencils, I told myself: "They look like Kyle's jumbo crayons!"  On top of my head, I have this impression that the color will come out chunky, dry and fake-looking.

But looks can really be deceiving!   Well, the look almost fooled me!

Shades: Baby Pink and Deep Red

This is a jumbo pencil that need no sharpening!  It is retractable so it is easy to tote along and use until the end!  The shade Baby Pink look almost too "Teenager" for me and Deep Red seems not deep enough!

Tony Moly Bam Bam Tint Delight Review and How To Use

Lipstick Monday!  I stay true to what I do and it seems like I'm really gearing towards lip products on a Monday!  Today, I am sharing (yet another) powder lipstick product!  This time, from the country where gradient lip trend is most popular --- Korea!  The brand?  Tony Moly!

The product is called Tony Moly Bam Bam Tint Delight!

Checking out online, there are a total of 5 shades and I picked the darkest among the five which is shade 05 or Rosy Red.

Tony Moly LipTone Get It Tint Water Bar 05 Plum in Purple Review

I am IN LOVE with Purple Lipsticks nowadays!  It all started when I tried Inglot's Berry Obsession Shade 293 and Too Cool For School Hot Girl Lip Sticker in Blazing Purple.  So when I visited my favorite Tony Moly branch at Lucky Chinatown (the SA there is super friendly I love her!), I got intrigued to try the newest lip color line called LipTone Get It Tint Water Bar. 

So how is it different with the usual lipsticks?

According to the SA, this Tint Water Bar contains 40% hydration for cool absorption on the lips.  As compared to other lip tints, the version of Tony  Moly is different in terms of pigmentation. 

Innisfree Vivid Tint Rouge Lavender Review

When I first chanced upon Innisfree Vivid Tint Rouge on Althea website, I picked one shade immediately and put it in my "basket".  Once this tint together with a bunch of products I ordered arrived, I went scrambling in front of the computer looking for some sort of product description because I honestly forgot what this was for!  

Can't blame me gals!  Most cosmetics are dual-purpose and I was a bit confused if this is a blush or a lip tint based from its' very thin consistency.   Thankfully, after checking the online shopping site for product description, the mystery was solved!  This is indeed a lip product.

There are a total of 6 shades to choose from (from the website) and I went ahead and go for Lavender.  Because I've been on a "purple lips" state!  If you saw my recent haul on Etude House and Tony Moly (on Snapchat), you'll see more "purple/lavender" hauls!

Revlon Ultra HD Matte LipColor Review

If you follow me on Snapchat, I "unboxed" the new Revlon Beauty Ritual Kit which comes with the new release Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor (featured here) and the Love Is On Fragrance with 2 chocolates from Theo and Philo and an instruction! 

 

AMW Wears: ColourPop Ultra Matte Lip (Bumble and Tulle)

ColourPop Cosmetics (especially their Ultra Matte Lip products) are the ultimate "It" thing if you follow Beauty Gurus on Youtube and Instagram!  Everyone's posting their loot and I can't help but wanted at least ONE of them even if I currently own gazillion of lip products!  And as much as I am proud to say I'm the type who has really strong will power, well, look....

Why Calyxta, why do you have to sell these?  You know what they say?  You learn more, you spend more!  hahaha  I learned so much about the various brand offerings they have when I attended their First Year Anniversary last December.   So I went home, browsed their online site, and told myself: "It is Christmas season, I deserve this!"

And got 2 shades of ColourPop Ultra Matte Lip in shades Bumble and Tulle!
Thankfully, the site currently sells limited shades so I don't have an excuse to hoard!

Lipsticks of the Day: L'Oreal Color Riche and Collection Star Lipsticks

I love how people see me as a "boring mom" who wears neutrals EVERYDAY.  Well, you can be wrong but once I hold the "lipstick weapon", I can go crazy!  I am very confident in wearing any shade of lipstick as long as the occasion calls for it!

Just recently, L'Oreal Paris wants us to Celebrate Pink, Love Red, Brave Orange and Discover Mauve with their newest Color Riche Lipsticks.

I've done an in-depth review on Sleek's Matte Me and Gloss Me year 2013 and who would've thought fast-forwarding to today, we have all the shades we want available locally?

And I couldn't be happier.

Both Gloss Me and Matte Me comes in the same packaging but you won't make a mistake because Gloss Me and Matte Me are printed clearly on the clear plastic packaging.

Sleek True Colour Lipsticks (Pink Freeze and Russian Roulette) Review

So I finally got my hands on the most coveted Sleek True Colour Lipsticks!  And thankfully, the shades I got are both okay for my skintone --- Russian Roulette and Pink Freeze!

Now, don't you think Pink Freeze looks like MAC's Pink Nouveau while Russian Roulette looks like a dead ringer for MAC's Russian Red?  Close dupe!

Kate Smooth Color Rouge in BE-3 is a MLBB Lippie!

Good day!  Today's post,  I will be sharing a natural-looking lippie that can still give me that "lively" effect!  I know most MLBB (My Lips But Better) lipsticks may look too natural that you ended up like you didn't weer any make-up at all!  Not this one!
