AMW Reviews: Rimmel Stay Blushed! Liquid Cheek Tint (Pop of Pink)

I'm on a roll with blush reviews!  I have always been a fan of blush because it gives my pale skin an instant "lift".  Whether I use contouring powder or not, I highly depend on blush to create dimension on my face even casual days.

As soon as I got this product from local reseller Beautycorner.ph  and saw the shade called Pop of Pink, I initially thought: "Not Again!".  As you all know, I may be a fan of "pink ANYTHING" but not when it comes to blush!  Why?  They usually come out too obvious and too fake on my cheeks!  But upon swatching....I had a change of heart.

Rimmel by the way is a UK drugstore brand that has been going around in the blogosphere for quite some time because of it's affordability YET super good reviews!  I haven't tried a lot of Rimmel London products so this actually made me excited!

Rimmel Stay Blushed! Liquid Cheek Tint is housed in a tube almost similar to a lip gloss.

The product description says Lightweight that blends instantly and seamlessly which I knew I had to test it out on our weather.

AMW Reports: Kenneth Cole New York Holiday 2014 Collection

I've never been to New York but I am definitely putting that on my "must travel list".  Once Kyle gets bigger!

Thankfully, during the Kenneth Cole New York event last Tuesday, KCNY brought New York here in Manila!  Specifically at Makati Shangri-la Hotel!

When I say they brought New York City in Manila, I mean it!  Check out the huge New York Skyline that greeted me!  This was the lovely view while we had our scrumptious lunch!

Kenneth Cole watches has been around for quite some time, but what made this collection worthy to check out?  This latest assortment of men's and women's watches celebrates the glamour of the night, the cutting-edge city life and the enduring spirit of classic sophistication of where else?  NEW YORK CITY!

During the event, we all get to meet Creative Director for Kenneth Cole New York Watches --- Mr. David Smordini. 

AMW Reviews: FS by F21 Cosmetics Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner (Brown)

If you are a long-time reader of AMW, you'll know how much I loved Gel liners and I used and tried a couple of brands!  

From Coastal Scents (raise your hand if you still remember this brand), Makeup  Masala Gel Liners,  San San gel Eyeliner with Vitamin E, Maybelline Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Liner, Kate Gel Eyeliner, ELF Studio Creme Eyeliner,  Stila Smudgepots, MAC Fluidline and the list goes on and on!

As you can see, I don't discriminate makeup brands or price points!  What is important for me...is the effectiveness of the product!  If it works and is super affordable, you'll know where it'll go --- Eureka Moment!

I recently got to try FS by F21 Cosmetics from BDJ Box for the month of September 2014.  Thankfully, this gel liner is included in the box because I wouldn't purchase any gel liner because I just have too many as of the moment!

FS by the way stands for Fanny Serrano, Fanny Serrano is a well known local Makeup Artist for the stars and his collaboration with Fashion 21 Cosmetics is really wonderful because most of the products from the FS line works really well!

I know I'm blabbing so much again, I should just get on to the review right?  Well, just so you know, my first FS by F21 Long-Wear Gel Liner is in color Brown which I love because Brown is a perfect gel liner shade for everyday look!

Initial Thoughts: Olay Natural White Bars

The road to flawless fair skin has been around for decades!  I used to laugh at my colleagues (when I worked part time in a distributing company that distributes whitening soap) when they react how painful it is to try to whiten their skin.

I don't need all the drama just to whiten my skin and in the first place, I don't like to lighten my skin!  Fast forward to today, I find myself using these whitening products like soaps and lotions NOT because I want to appear lighter and whiter than I am today but instead I want to even out my skin because being fair ain't easy when you have dark patches here and there!  (mas obvious pag maputi ka)

Thankfully, there are so many skincare products using natural whitening ingredients such as papaya and vitamin C which aids in "lightening" and brightening your skin minus the pain!  I recently tried Olay Natural White in Vitamin C.

Benefit Majorette Booster Blush Review

I have heard about Benefit Majorette Booster Blush even before they were available in the Philippines because I was lucky enough to be shown a sample of this by Kriska of Benefit during one of our meetings for workshop.  

Upon seeing this cutely packaged "booster" blush, I knew this will be a hit upon launch!  And guess what?  I'm right!  As I had my brows done last week at the Benefit Boutique Greenbelt 5, 3 customers came in to try on this peach colored booster blush and 3 of them walked with these!

And I'm glad I had my own!

then gently dab Majorette at the center, topped with clear gloss)

The packaging itself reminded me so much of Highschool!  How I wished I was a Majorette back then...too bad I'm such a tomboy I ended up as an MPFA (military police and first aider), manning traffic at Malacanang area (you probably guessed by school by now)  instead of twirling a baton #lol.
