Seaking Pink Salmon Steak Recipe

I seldom cook Salmon dishes for so many reasons, one of them would be: "How assured am I that they are clean and fresh?"

Then I've found a solution when I saw Salmon Steak "cut" available in packs from the supermarket --- Seaking Pink Salmon Steak!

I originally wanted to bake this but I've decided to create a sweet version of Salmon Steak so that my son will love it too!

Here's what you need:

• Seaking Pink Salmon Steak 
• Salt and Pepper
• Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
• Butter
• Honey
• Fresh garlic
• Lemon (or in my case, I wanted the local flavor from Calamansi

The launch was really energetic!  Not because I was the host (lol) but because it was filled with energy!  It started off with a K-Pop dance number from Ueno!  Then a fashion show came next with models featuring Ready 2 White products with their smooth, glowing skin!  And there was a bonus!  Elisse Joson came out on stage looking so beautiful and sang a song for her fans and audience.

Make Up For Ever Artist Face Color Blush in B308 Review

Forever tropical on your cheeks?
That's all I have to say whenever I pick the blush from Make Up For Ever!  The Artist Face Color Blush is B308 is my current favorite and you'll see it why....

It registers so well on photos and looks great in person!

I got a refill of this because I have a magnetic pan which you can purchase also from the brand!  It fits perfectly without any tape because it is well..Magnetic!  I did say so right? 

This color screams Bright Warm Coral shade!  If you have medium to dark complexion, this would melt so well into your skin creating a nice depth and "highlight"!  Yes --- 2 opposite words in a sentence...is it even possible? 

Swatch:  B308

This looks bright on swatch but it appears really nice on skin!  It does not look like you have a fake-looking blush powder on instead, it brightens up your whole complexion with a nice satin-matte finish!  

Nailympics: Battle of the Salon Nail Artists 2019!

Nail Art has been an integral part in my Beauty Blogging journey.

I can't even search my own blog post on my FIRST EVER nail art design because I was loaded with Nail Art entries!  It was at least 1 nail art tutorial a week and I've been blogging Daily for so long!

Just like nail art, my own nail art tutorials stopped when I gave birth to Kyle.  Taking care of my nails was the least to worry because I'd rather sleep than to polish my nails.

Fast forward to several years after, when I got more time on hands and Kyle does not demand my schedule as much, I am glad to do more tutorials and even widen the reach to not only Blogs but Instagram and Facebook!

It was a best timing for me for a comeback as NAIL ART itself did a HUGE comeback last week with the first NAILYMPICS: Battle of the Salon Nail Artists organized by Beauty & Wellness Manila, Girlstuff and GlobalLink MP!

And not only that, I was honored to be invited as their first HOST as well!

Nailympics was open to full-time employees (Nail artists, manicurists or nail technicians) of any Beauty Salon, Nail Salon or Spa in Metro Manila.

Salons like David's Salon, Unica Ija Salon, Nailaholics, French Tip Salon joined this prestigious competition.

Benefit Boi-ing Cakeless Concealer Initial Thoughts #AMWIGtv

I live for concealers!

Well, it used to be lip balm (you all know that), but ever since having a son and being a hands-on mom, sleeping for full 8 hours is next to impossible so I rely heavily on concealers for me to face clients, friends and THE WORLD :P

Let's Gold Palette Look #AMWIGtv

One thing I love about Hostings, I learn so much during work!

I recently hosted one of the Masterclass from Make Up For Ever with Master Jake Galvez.  It was an early morning call time so I had my makeup and hair done at the event proper.  The make up artist, Raymund, quickly did my makeup and the outcome was amazing! 

One thing I immediately asked of him: "What eyeshadow did you use?"  He showed me the Let's Gold Palette. 

And it wasn't a surprise when Jake Galvez himself championed the palette by creating a gorgeous eye makeup look to his chinita model using the same palette! 

That's it!  I want one!  And thankfully, the Masterclass KIT curated by Jake Galvez himself includes the Let's Gold palette.

Let's talk about dual purpose products!  I got a whole bunch of Absolute New York products when they were officially launched in the Philippines but this lipstick caught my attention in so many ways.

Midweek Special: Graham Sylvanas Recipe

I am not a "sweets" person, the list of my favorite desserts are less than my 10 fingers and none of them are the super sweet ones!

One dessert me and my brother loved to share are Sylvanas.  We would "gift" each other 2-3pcs of Sylvanas way back when we were still students because we are "on a budget".  You know how pricey these little piece of heaven could get.

Fast forward to today, as I am starting to be back with my "cooking grind" (Hello Kyle Nash on 1st Grade!), my food planning and preparation skills went "topnotch"!  - in my dictionary anyways.  So when I got myself some M.Y. San Grahams goodies, I quickly planned for a Mango Graham Cake because I LOVE mangoes!  Unfortunately, ripe mangoes aren't in season so I went for Graham Sylvanas as this is one of my few favorite desserts!  I didn't pick this at first because feeling ko ang hirap gawin!

Hindi naman pala!

Weekend Food Trip at: Black Scoop Cafe

The first time I tried Black Scoop Cafe was a Latte drink that Mr. AMW bought me after a late dinner at U.N. Avenue.  I was so into the drink I took note on the brand and thought of going back to that same branch.

Fast forward to a few weeks after, I had my usual facial at The Facial Care Centre Morato Branch, as I was leaving the building, I saw a Black Scoop Cafe branch and decided to have my usual cup of coffee!  But I was greeted with a long list of drinks instead and I ended up buying 6 Brown Sugar Lattes and made everyone at home happy!

Then when Mr. AMW and I went out on a date, I've decided to bring him back at the same Black Scoop branch and try out their food because my good friend Marj has been raving about them!

Aside from Milk Tea and Snacks, they also serve soft-served ice cream, breakfast meals, fruit tea and even hot chocolate!

So this is our order and I had to share my milk tea with Mr. AMW as I just ordered and drank 1 a day before!  This time we tried Cream Cheese Milk Tea and it tastes sinfully good!

Quirk Manila Playa Bucket Bag

I am into bags, any kind of bags as long as they serve me a good purpose!

I need a huge bag on most days but on days I'm going out for events or meetings, I prefer a small sling bag because it is the easiest way for me to move and keep my important belongings close to me.

I recently discovered a new brand of unique bags locally made called Quirk Manila!  The shop carries unique designs and cute bags!  I immediately fell in love with Playa Mini Bucket handbag/crossbody Bag and have been using it a couple of times.

It doesn't hurt that the color brings out my cheery mood!

This bucket bag doubles up as a handbag or crossbody bag!  I like to put the small strap on my arm when I am attending a bit more formal events while I use the sling when I wear casual clothing just like the outfit I wore in these photos!

How to Cut Your Own Bangs and Ways to Style it! #AMWIGTV

Dear Bangs:

I've loved you for so long!  I've had you since nursery and was the only girl in class who have bangs when I was in College.

I tried to hide you after I became a mom (ponytail + bangs clip and all!)  Then my son turned 6 and I knew I had to have you back!  

I did, 3-4 years ago and I never looked back!  Most people felt irritated by you because you cover their eyes and cause a couple of zits!  For me, you do irritate my eyes especially when I drive and you do give me occasional pimples...but I am more comfortable with you.

This letter, I don't know why I'm even writing a letter to my bangs but yeah, we are that close so I had to learn to trim you because going to a salon every 2-3 weeks is a huge hassle and obviously expensive!

Just so you know, I studied haircutting way back before I studied Make Up, so yes, you can trust me on this!  And I've been trimming my bangs for many many years now so hope you learn something from me!
